Imperials,
I am pleased to announce that there is a new addition to the Imperial Academy curriculum - The TIE Mission Creation course. This course is designed to teach and test proficiency in mission creation for the TIE Fighter gaming platform. I must offer special thanks to SL Khadgar - the course's author - who put a great deal of time and effort into seeing its completion. I must also thank LC Antillies, current Navy Dean, for his assistance coding and uploading the material. The course is fully functional, available to all, and can be found at:

Just for tradition's sake, I let a week pass before announcing the result of the latest court martial that was held before the Emperor's Court. The case was S-00005, the Galactic Empire vs. Lance Corporal Wetere. Yes, another one. Yes, once again someone seemed to be too overwhelmed by the sheer complexity of our rules and regulations. Yes, it... stop interrupting me and allow me to present the summary, will you?
The charges:
one (1) count of Insubordinate Conduct Towards High Officials
two (2) counts of False Statements
The former was a highly inappropriate behavior in a private chat conversation with the newly appointed army commander, Major General Burton, the latter was yet another case of overestimating one's abilities to sneak a couple of clones into one's own unit to further one's career.
Well, umm, yeah. Awesome.
It might, of course, have been easier to further one's career by, oh, I don't know... showing good manners in a conversation with one's division commander and by concentrating more on doing some actual work with his main GE character, but then again, I have only been a member of this club since early 1999 and Wetere is obviously an expert at devising clever schemes and insulting Generals, so what do I know?
Seriously, though, if you are interested in a career in this organization, don't even think about breaking any regulations for it, as the only thing this will get you is an appointment with the wrecking ball of justice. With you being the wreck afterwards.
In this case, the Lance Corporal pleaded guilty on all charges and stated that he regretted his actions. He also seemed to have outgrown his earlier childish behavior and proposed to apologize to all parties affected by his actions. As such, I saw fit to merely demote him to the rank of Private First Class and require a public apology from him. Naturally, his clones have been removed from the roster.
Don't. Screw. With. The. Law.

<VA_JagFel> 1) Officers' Manual Major Upgrade
<VA_JagFel> Since the last meeting, a great amount of my free time as been expended working on the Officers' Manual. There were three phases of upgrade to the manual: technical, cosmetic, and content.
<VA_JagFel> The technical upgrade brought much of the extremely old HTML code into a much more modern state... Some of the elements in the manual had remained unchanged since the very first version... In any event, maintenance of the manual has become *much* easier, and as such the manual is much more likely to remain current.
<VA_JagFel> The second is the cosmetic upgrade: the left side Javascript menu is gone, as well as the frame based layout... The new style resembles that of the old, but has improvements throughout.
<VA_JagFel> The final is the content upgrade; various items in the manual were out of date; specifically the Empire at War sections. These have all been updated, and various pages have received long-overdue updates, spelling corrections, and so on.
