SC Email - antispam measures

Officers of the Empire:

Due to a huge amount of spam on my sc@ email address, full anti-spam settings have been enabled at the mailbox server location. This means if you do not get a reply from myself then please send your message again (it may have been accidentally flagged).

If you still do not get a message from me after that, please attempt to contact me either via messages here, or on any of the instant message programs that are available on my profile, or at any address you know I am contactable at.*

* please do not use my personal address unless absolutely necessary

Outlook filters spam as well quite well, its that I dont want to have to download 100 emails everytime I sign onto the server...

I like it and i tried to import my email to thunderbird once, crashed everytime !

I don't get 100 e-mails when I check my mail, and I've been getting the SC mail. You can just do what I do, which is leave your mail open all the time, then the 100 mails (not that there are 100

) don't all come at once.

Also - are you on a modem or something? 100 emails * average of 10k per e-mail ~= 1 MB of mail which on any decent broadband speed should take only a handful of seconds.

Its annoying to sift through the ones which do miss the outlook spam filter

No I have ~ 7-8mBits

I used the Thunderbird filter on my IS.net account, and it worked great. If it's becoming problematic, I would go with that.

Also, as an FYI, all the $position@empirereborn.net mails are getting spammed...

All emails are getting spammed, because spammers just send emails to every possible email adress there is.
Turn on that feature that all emails that are undeliverable are sent to the server-admin mail addy (most configuration programs have that feature) and you will see that a server gets bombarded with everything from aaaaa@empirereborn.net to zzzzz@empirereborn.net.
