ORW EAW Stradgey disscusiion

Im more asking along the lines for a brainstorm idea session on stradgies against Key ORW Eaw enemies like RS_Revan and Drath_Angulasor or just tips on what maps people like to use but this protains to the game in general.

First of all I cant seem to beat Revan in 1v1 anybody have ideas how to beat him? ( since he's the only one that seems to do EAW 1v1 thats outside of the imperials anyway)
He loves too use xwings and pirates to force me to build massive amount of ties that get slaughtered and i can never seem to hold mines with him around. any suggestions?

1) They're RS_Raven and Darth_Angelus.

Raven is supposedly a very, very good EaW player. Bear that in mind.

Now, you've just said that you're trying to counter X-wings and pirate fighters with TIEs? Good god, man, their info popup tells you TIEs suck against anything except Y-wings.

If he keeps sending fighters against you, the answer is quite logical. Send anti-fighters at him. Build Tartans!

Problem is when i get to Tartans he has all the mines on map and is churning out Nebula's or pirate interceptors. and the ties always were tying to destact them but that distration kept draining my income

Raven is a cheater and I have beaten Angelus before alone and also in 2v2 or 3v3.

Agreed that Raven is good and also better than me. But the first match I have played against him , I have caught him by surprise. Seized all the 6 mines on the maps. Reduced his fleet to rumbles. And when his station's shield generator was about to blow....

The connection failed!

According to him both players never left the server. And he claims to never have been beaten at EAW. Pffttt. :p

Don't let this stuff turn you down. FIGHT!!! When falling , RISE again and again. Until you prevail.

We will maybe lose this battle. But bare in mind that great players don't usually get better. An sometimes they get lazy. Challengers fight for a goal , a cause...

Becoming great themselves!

And then... the GE:ER will have won more than a battle. The more great players we have amongst our ranks. The greater the GE:ER name will become.
