Which Consoles do you own?

Actually you can get an emulater for the computer.

Leaving aside the questions of legality, I know that depending on the console, this does not always work. There are a lot of issues to work out to get the games running.

And besides that, there's really no substitute for actually playing the game in its original form. Playing Zelda64 (Ocarina of Time) on the Nintendo64 is a much better experience than playing it on the computer is, or even than it is playing the game on the Gamecube (yes, I've done it - the Master Quest disk). Because the control system for the game was designed for the controller... (this is why console games ported to PC often suck), and you have to hand it to Nintendo - they know how to make good controllers.

There is no controller quite like the one for the old NES. *sigh* Only 2 buttons, that was the best controller ever.

Now dont get me started on that stupid X-Box thing with that itty bitty white button.

Legality I know... There are sites in which it is legal to download them (Or at least I think it is legal). Besides, games that are impossible to find aer usually the ones to get.

I own a Nintendo Game Cube, and a Playstation.

Although I am on my PC most of the time.

I hate consoles. So I presumed that it would be clear that I donÂ´t own any :p
That for the reasons Vort stated.

However, the fact that I hate consoles doesn't means that I hate playing the games themselves. And yes, emulated games are not the same, they simply lack something. The only emulated games I play are those for the oldest platforms I owned eg. ZX Spectrum.

Atari not that its useful but I do have SW Arcade on it.
SNES with the Super Star Wars series.
N64 somewhere.

But what you probably really care abotu with the topic of GE and Consoles is I have a PS2 and I do not own a XBOX.
