This is the latest news from my office, and a few other annoucements from other High Command Staff.

#1. Imperial Army Division
There has been lots of work recently in developing the necessary background for the Imperial Army. We have a manual
for the division, and basic units have been created on the domain. I take pride in annoucing that the division will
be open to join as soon as the final details are finished off. This will hopefully be in the following week.

I am lucky however to be able to annouce the first divisional commander of the Army - a long standing and highly
dedicated officer, he has risen from the ranks of the Navy to the position of Admiral; and has seen almost all
new members the Empire has received. This is of course, Admiral Jacob Jansen. By taking command he leaves the
Academy in the hands of Lieutenant Commander Longstreet; but will assist him in for the near future in his task.
Therefore, I am happy to pronouce that Admiral Jansen is now General Jansen, and shall assume command of the
Army at once.

Once the final items are sorted out, the division will be able to be opened and new members can join. This represents
an important move for the Empire, something I hope will get us back on track to the activity levels of before.

#2. Fleet status check
Due to the lack of life from some areas of the fleet, ALL officers must report in within one week of this email being
received. This means that if you do not reply, then you shall be automatically transferred to the reserves. Please respond
in person to myself - as well as CC'ing the chain of command above yourselves. Your presence will only be counted if you
email myself. After the time period is up, we will need to restructure the fleet - expect some changes to happen. Hopefully
these will not be too drastic, but the future lies in your hands.

The deadline for responses is set to Midnight, UK time (GMT+1) on the 24th July 2004.

#3. Website news
The administration section of the website is now being worked on, and should see the first few features come online this week.
Stay alert for these items. Also, the site now displays recent medal awards for those awarded in the last 10 days. The Imperial
Archives continues to grow - add your data here at http://databank.empirereborn.net/

Other news from around the Empire is that a 'Navy Officers Exam' professor required, please contact the Academy Prefect for further
details.

Remember to sign up to the combat ladders and play! Or if that isnt possible, the Combat Chamber is open, and the processor for the
reporting of these missions will come online shortly.

Yes I can do that. I have a few to look over as well. I hope to get these uploaded as soon as possible. Please make sure all submissions are bug free, and report any bugs you find !
