-Galactic Empire-
Outer Rim War 3 will be beginning next Saturday and continuing well into Sunday. It is a full-weekend competition which brings eight clubs together in three factions - Imperial, Rebel and Sith. We are part of the Imperial faction, with two other clubs as our allies. Information can be found at www.orw3.net and http://wiki.rebelsquadrons.org/ORW3 and I hope to see many of you in #Outerrim where I will be leading the Army in gaming activity!

The Dauntless CO is open to applications. Send them to Lt. Colonel Burton, with a CC to me. The requirements are as follows:
-MUST have an email turnabout time of 24-48 hours.
-MUST be prepared to release reports every Sunday.
-GB Basic Combat Certification.
-Army Officers Exam.
-Company Leadership Exam.
-Shown activity and participation in GE-related activites.
-Include your plans for the Company - what you would do if you were accepted.
I don't care if you're a Private, Ensign or Fleet Admiral, all applications will be considered - IF they qualify for the above requirements.
Gorgon XO is open to applications. Send them to ALT Thot Ghor with a CC to myself and Colonel Burton.
Viper XO is also open to applications. Send them to ALT Jim with a CC to myself and Colonel Burton, as above.

The 2nd Brigade consists - as of this report - of four Companies with 29 officers on the rosters.

The main priorities LCL Burton listed as goals he would like members of the Second Brigade to set are:
1) Participate in ORW3.
2) Join the Combat Ladders and play some matches.
3) Academy exams and certifications.
If you want promotions or medals, these are your best bets. Some of you are very close to getting a promotion. Be active. It can only help. For those of you not as close to getting a promotion, be active anyway. It can only help you toward your future promotion. Of course, you don't know which you are and we aren't telling, so, generally, be active.
