Imperial Academy Recruitment Competition

Start Date: January 25th
End Date: February 15th

Rules
1) Applicants must be using one of the Empire's platforms. (TIE, XvT, XWA, FW, JK, JO, JA, GB, FC, BF)
2) Applicants must complete training at the Academy and be placed into active duty for credit to be awarded.
3) Applicants must note you as their recruiter to get credit. (Option on the join form)

Medals
-Each commissioned recruit will award you a [MoX] or the proper upgrade

-5 or more commissioned recruits will award you a [MoM]
-10 or more commissioned recruits will award you a [BS]
-15 or more commissioned recruits will award you a [SS]
-25 or more commissioned recruits will award you a [GS]

Suggestions
-Use Gamespy < http://www.gamespy.com > or the MSN Zone < http://zone.msn.com/ > when looking for members.
-If you get any questions you cant answer, send them to me.
-Make sure to give them the join form < http://www.empirereborn.net/join.php > and the Academy website < http://academy.empirereborn.net >.

Hmm, a question.
Have the awarding procedures for the MoX changed? If yes, what are the new ones, because the manual still lists:
MEDAL OF EXPANSION [MoX]: For the recruitment of 1 officer.
MEDAL OF EXPANSION, Bronze Grade [MoX-BG]: For the recruitment of 5 officers.
MEDAL OF EXPANSION, Silver Grade [MoX-SG]: For the recruitment of 10 officers.
MEDAL OF EXPANSION, Gold Grade [MoX-GG]: For the recruitment of 25 officers.

That means not one MoX per person recruited.
If that is still true, I suppose the other medals are in addition to the MoX grades?

No, the haven't changed. The recruiter will receive a MoX or upgrade for reaching the correct number of recruitees in addition to the added awards.

Any people who actually already did something for this competition? :)
I have two people coming in, but I guess I need to find two more to actually get a MoM out of it. ;-)

I had three spread out over that last month or two, but one backed out, and one just got the game.

Yeah, that is the problem I have here. Some people have the games, but most of them say "sure, I'll look into it!" and you think "great!" but then a few days later when you ask if they checked out the page, they come up with a lousy excuse. :P

That reminds me.
When Battlefront was released, I asked if the PC and XBox version could play together - somebody (think it was Solidis) said that it would work. I guess it does not? (Nobody ever really answered this question).

I mean even the Xbox will have to use TCP/IP to connect to the internet and I doubt the games are THAT different. Afterall PC players have to endure that games are now made with console controllers in mind (like adventure games that are 3D and playable with 6 buttons and no mouse support...GRRRR!).
