Jansen took the holocron fragment in his hands. It fit perfectly in with the piece that was found in the Grand Admiral's shuttle. As far as he could tell, the holocron had broken into perfect pieces. No little jagged parts. So all that would be necessary is to find the remaining pieces. He surmised there would be one for each world the Grand Admiral had visited.
Very well, then. The next place on the flight path they had found was a lush and temperate world. It lay well within Imperial territory, around Ord Biniir. For once, a world that wasn't under constant threat of Rebel attack.
Sensor scans showed, however, that the holocron was several kilometers below sea level of the world. Which meant it was underwater. Fine. An Imperial Dive Team would not take long to assemble. But this place was being fought over by a pair of primitive tribes. No matter. Wipe them out and secure the place. As simple as that.
Jansen got up from his desk and headed down to the mess hall. Time to brief the troops.

-Army assignment: ERS116-GB - Two primitive tribes are fighting over the place where an Imperial dive team needs to be set up to retrieve the holocron piece! Eliminate them to clear the way!

-You should know this part by heart now...
-Saturdays 1600-2300 EST (GMT-5) in #outerrim on IRC - InterClub Training Event, come and play against other clubs like Rebel Squadrons, Emperor's Hammer, StarVipers, etc. They host many games, including XWA, XvT, the JK series, GB, FC, and Battlefront. Stop in and have a good time!
-Ladders were reset and the duration has been extended, so join a Ladders and play against other officers for some shinies, and if you play against myself or General Jansen, you can get into the Royal Guard as well!
-If you have GB, or any of the X-wing series, start flying Combat Chamber missions. Besides the fact that you can get medals for the amount you complete, right now you'll also be getting OS points as well. Go for high scores and try to top the Elite Pilots roster (but you have to beat me ((which LT MAR just did )). )

Alright, school should've started for everyone it applies to, so now we wait for everyone to settle into their schedules again. Really only a couple I need to watch, and some roster shuffling.
Quite a bit of activity on the Ladders though, real happy about. Nice to see more than two people actually playing regularly. Now that the Ladder duration has been extended, we'll really get a feel of where people stand skill-wise, and that usually leads to Guardship
I'm still chugging away at IDMR stuff; just updated a TIE95 patch, doing some graphics work, etc. Time isn't in an abundance as it was over the summer, but I manage.

I need my schoolwork to go away, so I can actually have time to work on my IDMR stuff. I've got 3 projects I'm working on now, and I kinda want to get them done sometime. If anyone knows of a magic button that finishes everything instantly and correctly, let me know
No GB mission, but we have fiction this week. It's writing. Everyone can do this. We're not asking for a Zahn novel, just write something up, doesn't have to be outstanding. You can be writing fiction for each chapter anyway, there's no excuse for having zero points at the end of this.
