Foley in Uniform

This is a picture of me (A very bad one at that) in my JROTC uniform. It's our Battalion's second year so we're a little undersupplied (Such as my not having the correct shoulder boards

) But we're going along nicely and the uniform always makes one feel special

.

Heh, I guess now I'm going to have to dig out my pictures shortly. Crap, now where did I put them? Oh, here's the Color Guard! You can't see Foley (he's the right side rifleman and hidden by the flags) but I'm the big dude in the back of the formation calling all the shots!

Ahh, so that's what you call a bunch of young adults playing with automatic weapontry and armored vehicles. I thought it was an Army or something.

Ah yes, our European armies.

After a week of basic training, you get to drive around in vehicles that you'd never ever be allowed to drive in public and if, only after months of training and testing. :P

After the first week of basic training, they let you play with sticks that shoot 1200 rounds of 7.62mm ammo. :P

They let you play with handgrenades, bazookas, flamethrowers, mines, plastic explosives, AT LAWs and all other sorts of stuff that every 18 year old just has to get his hands on.... :P

My Highschool had Navy ROTC.. If It was Army, I would of joined..
