Outer Sectors Chapter Sixteen: Rise up from the Grave

Psi was on patrol in a nearby sector. When a distress call erupted in LT MAR's comlink.


"Nemesis to Psi Squadron!"

"LT MAR here , Nemesis."

"Psi , we need you here on the double. We are under attack and the Chimeara as been hijacked. We are facing 2 Corellian Corvette and a Destroyer. Plus a whole bunch of Uglies. GUNs have already launch , but their cover won't last long against that many Uglies."

"Nemesis , I guess it's an invitation to Captain La Forge's party after all. We are jumping in 30 seconds. Tell them to hold them off with everything they've got. We'll be there in approximatly 2 minutes."

"Copy that LT!" The comm officer replied.


While talking with the Nemesis MAR was calculating the jump coordinates. He entered them in is NavComp and dispatched them to his Squadron.


"Ok Psi , time to go back home. There is another kind of party going on that I sure dont want to miss. We jump in 5 seconds. Prepare yourselves for exiting hyperspace in close combat. We are bringing HELL to those unninvited guests." MAR's voice was as cold as deep space.



The stars became lines as the Squadron entered hyperspace.


1 minute 37 seconds later they emerged right where MAR predicted. On the enemy flank! The TIE Advance was a great advantage when reversing into realspace. Psi took only half a second to get into attack position. The closest target was a Corvette , which MAR sent the order to attack before engaging the Uglies. The Corvette was taken completely off guard , they had reinforced their forward shield to face the Nemesis and it cost them all their lives. It took only one run of Psi to crack it in two. Then it blew up into a glazing ball of fire.

On their blizt , Psi destroyed numerous enemy fighters who didn't even know what hit them. Seeing that the enemy didn't had time to recover and considering the great speed of the Psi's TIE. LT MAR decided to take another run on the enemy , since his Squadron had reach the other "side" of the battle.

The tactic was a complete success. After unleashing HELL on the enemy as he promised , MAR ordered his Squadron to split into Flight formation and to chase the remaining fighters.

The GUNs who didn't suffered much casualties took only minutes to finish off the Destroyer. While the Nemesis took care of the last Corvette.
