Well, I got my copy today (It was my birthday present from my mom) and I've was looking forward to playing all through SATs today. Only problem is, I fire it up to play, and it lags horribly on my computer. I'm so not happy right now.

Ruins a perfectly good birthday present when a game lags.....

I'm going to get it for Xbox too, but I wanted the PC version first since I haven't had a good shooter for my computer in awhile.

Well, in my opinion we should also add Star Wars Legos to our gaming collection. What do you all think? BF2, is going in, I think we should add SW Legos to. :D

Foley: Yeah I guess so

Alex: No wonder. It might be because it's CDR..Like we said earlier in this topic; DVDR only takes on disc and installs faster..so it might run better too but I dunno about that

Or his computer isnt high speed enough/compatible or he might not have enough memory empty...DVDs just hold more info so you can shrink it down to one disk...there is no real running faster benefits between the DVD and CD versions just convenience. having a DVD-ROM over a CD-ROM driver could (not entirely sure abotu gameplay stuff like this) be better because DVD-ROMS run faster.

PFC Thot Ghor / Hornet Seven / 1st Brigade / Imperial Army
I have an idea:
With the new Space Battles available on BF2, maybe, as Battlefront falls under the Army's jurisdiction, we could create an elite fighter squadron, which could compete with other groups, and fight the Rebels on the Space Maps. We would fly as either Clones or Imperials. I think it would be an excellent addition to the Empire, and could boost recruitment. We could even recruit non-member pilots who fight with us who show great skill.

Thot Ghor: This addresses a question that came to my mind lately - what to do about platforms that are not classifiable as navy or army-only? "Battlefront 2" raises this question, seeing how it incorporates both space and ground battles. The same will most likely hold true for Empire At War with strategic elements both in space and on a planet's surface.

Instead of limiting these game to a single division, wouldn't it be a lot more interesting to create units in both divisions that represent aspects of the game?

Oh, yeah - thanks for reminding me of this, Private. ;-)

Perhaps, then, we should invite the navy into our discussions. It DOES have several folks who know about space combat, after all.
