Return of the Chimaera!

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Navy:

If you pull up the rosters you will notice something very different: The ISD Chimaera is staffed once again. All personnel from the VSD Warhammer have been officially transfered to the flagship.

For all members of the Chimaera / Warhammer, this means you will need an ID-Line update.

Also, please extend your congratulations to two newly promoted officers... Commander Muscat and Lieutenant Alex. Muscat takes up the position of the Chimaera's First Officer, and Lieutenant Alex succeeds Mr. Muscat as Iota leader.

I'm sure you'll hear more from Captain La Forge about the return of the Chimaera - so I now turn it over to him.

I am very pleased to see the Chimaera back in service.

The last time it was fully servicable was when....well, when I was still in command.

I wish its new command staff and crew the best of luck as the ship sets sail under the command of the seventh officer to hold the position of Senior Fleet Officer.

I have the utmost confidence that Captain La Forge and Commander Muscat will both follow in the fine examples of the officers that came before them. I would point out that I was La Forge's predecessor as First Officer, and I succeeded none other than Admiral Polanski himself.

So, simply put, I'm happy to see that the fine tradition that is the ISD Chimaera continue.

Oh, never fear, tradition will be maintained the on Chimaera. For instance, I already have my personal aides working on Christmas this year. All the old favorites (tree tower, colored turbolasers, and ewoks serving cookies) will be back, plus a few new suprises.

And the offical shipboard sport will be changed to "chair-with-fire-extinguishers-attached racing". Long story behind this one, you would have had to be on the Chimmy when former Sub-Lieutenant Daltin came over.

Anyway, in the famous words of a horrible artist: "Guess who's back, back again...."
