Greetings all!

I have great pleasure in sending you the latest information from the Empire, including most foremost,
the results for the first extended ladders which concluded just a few hours ago! There is also other exciting
developments which are detailed below the results.

#1. Ladder results!

The extended ladders ran for the best part of 3 months, and concluded at 0000 on the 30th of November. I
am very happy to announce that 208 matches were conducted, and several officers were extremely active.
My congratulations goes to BRG Jagged Fel for the most wins, at 77 wins out of 99 games played in the
Jedi Outcast ladders. Without further ado, the full results of the ladders with activity were:

-- X-Wing Alliance:
1st. BRG Jagged Fel (15 points & 3 wins)
2nd. LC M A R (15 points & 3 wins)
(no medals awarded)

-- Jedi Outcast
1st. BRG Jagged Fel (275 points & 77 wins) -> Awarded IVC-GL
2nd. 2LT Foley (261 points, 45 wins) -> Awarded IVC-SL
3rd. AD Fel (68 points, 16 wins) -> Awarded IVC-BL

-- Jedi Academy
1st. CPL Burton (60 points, 20 wins, no losses) -> Awarded IVC-BL
2nd. 2LT Foley (34 points, 2 wins) -> Awarded MoM
3rd. SSG Hunter (14 points, no wins)

-- SW Battlefront
1st. 2LT Foley (45 points, 9 wins) -> Awarded IVC-BL
2nd. JLT Tovakinpi (30 points 4 wins)
3rd. CPL Burton (27 points, 9 wins)


Congratulations to all who played during the ladder season, to those who received and also those
who did not received medals! The ladders have been reset for the next session and are due to end on
the 28th February 2006. If you are lucky, you might see myself on them as well to play against

#2. Battlefront II under review!

The High Command is currently reviewing the new Battlefront II game and this should be with us inside
our ranks within the next week or two pending time and discussions. The Advanced Combat Cert. will
be with us after a little while longer.

Once reviewed, the BF2 ladder will open, together with the Republic Commando ladder ready for playing
in this session. (RC needs to be reviewed for the multiplayer requirements).

#3. Consoles and the Empire

The Empire under my command has seen many new things tried and tested. This is one certainly new
idea which the HC believe is worth a shot at to see how effective things are. We are considering allowing members
to join the club with console based versions of the games. With consolves becoming more and more powerful
and popular, and the features growing, we believe that it is possible that integration of consoles into the
Empire is possible. However, those members would still require access to email and messengers etc as do
all other members of the Empire.

However, before we can start this big change, we need to be able to gauge the penetration of consoles into the
GE, and for that we need your name if you have one. Please visit the dedicated forum on our Holonet and register
which console you own, and what Star Wars games. We shall be looking for someone to look after this project
on our behalf, so if you are interested in getting involved, please also post a little about your activity on the consoles,
your multiplayer experiences and other pieces of information that might come in handy to us. We want to get
as much information as possible, and start up the section ASAP.
