Anyway, I found a mod and installed it. It's very glitchy, probably because the demo doesn't have all the necessary files. Avoid battles at Bespin, Mon Calamari, Alderaan and Sullust. It'll just crash the game. Hoth is one hell of a space battle.
Hint: Destroy the MC80 carrying all those fleet commanders - there's about 15-20 of them aboard and each increases fleet firepower or something by 25%. That's bad enough if it's on a base rate, but if it's compound... That's probably why my fleet got hammered so badly. Because I was concentrating on Ackbar's Home One, which is less valuable overally, compared to that MC80 with the umpteen fleet commanders.
