<FA_Polanski> The Empire currently has on the rosters 133 (+7) active Imperals, 708 (10) in total, and there are currently 45 (+5) cadets in the academy. It is good to see again a rise in the number of members since our last meeting - keep that recruiting going! The previously announced recruitment drive is still active - there is one month left.

<FA_Polanski> First off - CONGRATULATIONS to all! The first of many successful campaigns has been completed. I shall not say much now but instead hand over to Admiral Fel who has been the main driving force behind the campaign over the past year... Admiral Fel ?

<AD_Fel> Firstly, my thanks to ALL officers who participated in Outer Sectors! You have made for a successful campaign for the Empire!
<AD_Fel> I won't delay too much in moving on to the parts you are all no doubt most interested in: The medals! I will list the top 10 and the relevant medal awards...
<AD_Fel> In tenth place, with 326 points, is Rear Admiral Zwibble! RA Zwibble receives the IVC-BW!
<AD_Fel> In ninth place, with 360 points, is Lieutenant Alex! Mr. Alex receives the IVC-BW!
<AD_Fel> In eighth place, with 401 points, is Lieutenant Commander Steel! Steel receives the IVC-BW!
<AD_Fel> In seventh place, with 435 points, is Commander Muscat! CM Muscat also receives the IVC-BW!
<AD_Fel> In sixth place, with 438 points, is Sub-Lieutenant Viktorov! Mr. Viktorov receives the IVC-SW!
<AD_Fel> In fifth place, with 445 points, is Commodore Vortagh! He also receives the IVC-SW!
<AD_Fel> In fourth place, with 501 points, is Lieutenant Branet! Branet receives the IVC-SW!
<AD_Fel> In THIRD place, with 986 points, is Line Captain La Forge! Mr. La Forge receives the IVC-GW!
<AD_Fel> In SECOND place, with 1238 points, is Major General Jagged Fel! He also receives the IVC-GW!

<AD_Fel> In FIRST place overall, with a total of 1263 points, is Commander MAR! For his top performance, MAR receives the coveted IVC-PW.
<AD_Fel> This is the FIRST instance of the Imperial Victory Cross with Platinum Wings in GE history!

<AD_Fel> But those are not all the medals! Due to the size of the campaign, there is a second set of medals - merit medals - for officers who participated up to a certain level.
<AD_Fel> Officers who scored more than 900 points will be receiving a Silver Seal for their work.
<AD_Fel> Congratulations to MAR, Jagged Fel, and La Forge!
<AD_Fel> Officers who scored more than 400 points will be receiving a Bronze Seal.
<AD_Fel> Congratulations to Branet, Vortagh, Viktorov, Muscat, and Steel!
<AD_Fel> Officers who scored more than 250 points will receive a Medal of Merit.
<AD_Fel> Congratulations to Alex, Zwibble, Tsai Branet, and Drazhar!
<AD_Fel> Officers who scored more than 125 points will receive a Letter of Commendation.
<AD_Fel> Congratulations to Tornado, Tollek, Burton, Hermann, Qorl, Foley, Ualtar, and Jast!
<AD_Fel> In addition to this, ALL officers who have received ANY points whatsoever will receive a special commendation commissioned by FA Polanski himself - the Outer Sectors Veteran Commendation.
<AD_Fel> It is time indeed to deliver the credits for Outer Sectors - this would not have been possible without the help of the following people...
<AD_Fel> Commodore Vortagh - for making packages for missions & design and implementation of the XWA Mission packaging and distribution format. I hereby award the good Commodore a Medal of Merit for his work.
<AD_Fel> Rear Admiral Zwibble - for creation of TIE Missions, as well as mission testing & repairs! For her work, I hereby award RA Zwibble a Bronze Seal!
<AD_Fel> Major General Jagged Fel - for mission creation & testing throughout OS. For this, I award him the Silver Seal, in addition to the Medal of Tactics Gold Grade he earned alongside it.
<AD_Fel> General Jansen - for mission creation, fiction scoring, FPR scoring, and a very significant amount of behind-the-scenes work.
<AD_Fel> It is my pleasure to announce I have sought and received approval from FA Polanski to award General Jansen a Gold Seal!
<AD_Fel> There remain two other officers who it is necessary to thank, but they are beyond my authority to reward in any fashion...
<AD_Fel> The first is Fleet Admiral Polanski, who also designed missions, tested missions, wrote some of the story, and devised and implemented the scorechart system.

<AD_Fel> And finally, Outer Sectors was also helped by an officer who was one of the major elements of the plot - Retired Grand Admiral Daemon.
<AD_Fel> His story contributions were much appreciated in the final chapters, as well as his speech delivered in the Outer Sectors epilogue...

The sheer amount of awards shows the level of participation has been beyond all <FA_Polanski> I'd like to add to what has been said above: Admiral Fel and General Jansen have been the core driving force behind the campaign after I began it over a year ago. This long term work has not been unnoticed by myself and others, and for their efforts it is only fitting that they too are decorated for the extradinary dedication and time they have shown and given.
<FA_Polanski> For his efforts in running the campaign, I hereby award Admiral Fel the highest merit level award possible - usually only awarded in the extreme of circumstances and the second awarded in the history of the Empire - the prestigious Order of the Empire!
<FA_Polanski> General Jansen has been awarded (as above) the Gold Seal for his part in the campaign. Together they provided a strong team and I am proud to have them on board.
<FA_Polanski> I will see that the scorechart will be preserved at http://outersectors.empirereborn.net/ and the microsite will be developed to hold a permanent history of the events and story that unfolded. I will inform the Empire when this is completed!

<AD_Fel> Empire at War continues to grow at a respectable rate. There is a good amount of activity going on in the ladders and new cadets for it are coming into the academy all the time.

<AD_Fel> This is also an appropriate place for a small note regarding Empire at War - returning to our ranks in one such unit is another GE member of years past...
<AD_Fel> Former Captain Pavz has informed me of his intentions to return to active duty in Empire at War.

<AD_Fel> As a negative in the Empire at War category, to my knowledge we are still awaiting the release of a level editor of some sort by Lucasarts/Petroglyph...
<AD_Fel> We have been awaiting this so that we can evaluate the feasability of Empire at War scenarios appearing in the combat chamber.
<AD_Fel> The combat chamber leads me to my next item -
<AD_Fel> 3) Combat Chamber Update
<AD_Fel> As a point of interest, the Outer Sectors Campaign lead to the creation of a very large number of scenarios for the combat chamber, including some for Galactic Battlegrounds.
<AD_Fel> There are now *170* distinct downloads in the combat chamber, putting the Medal of Combat, Six Stripe within reach.
<AD_Fel> I can think of some officers who already wear it at this moment.
<AD_Fel> You are all HIGHLY encouraged to get to your fighters and get flying. Keep up that activity which was generated by Outer Sectors...

<GEN_Jansen> I would like to thank Admiral Fel for his outstanding work with the OS Campaign. He has done a fantastic job! This also extends to everyone else. You have taken part in the largest and most successful Campaign in GE history!
<GEN_Jansen> The Army Officers Review is complete. I have been working with Major General Jagged Fel on how to implement some of the ideas. I am also responding to each suggestion personally. Thanks to all who have took the time to respond to the review.
<GEN_Jansen> Few promotions in the Brigades. I am sure this will be announced again by my Brigade Commanders, but I would like to give my congrats. All were well deserved and over qualified.
<GEN_Jansen> I have been working with the EH Lord Ambassador on a GE vs EH Comp. More news to come out very soon, but I would like to get a large amount of activity from everyone in the GE.
