Announcement 1 is from FA Polanski:
Subject: Imperial Department of Strategic Development Opened!

It is my pleasure to announce the formation of a new Imperial Department...! The Imperial Department of Strategic Development (IDSD) has been formed in the wake of the Outer Sectors Campaign. This department is related to the Office of Tactical Co-ordination and in some respects their roles overlap, but there are a number of essential differences to note.
The GE Tactical Coordinator is focused on the creation, testing, and approval of GE-created simulations, whilst the new department is intended to be responsible on an Empire-wide scale for the design, development, and implementation, and running of large-scale competitions and campaigns, such as the Outer Sectors campaign.
The officer that leads the department is to some degree an overseer and advisor to the Tactical Coordinator. The new department will employ staff on Temporary Duty Assignments to aid in the development, review and testing of any new projects under its the jurisdiction, and these shall be under the leadership of the Strategic Development Director. There is one very logical choice for this position given his current role, and it is our current tactical coordinator - Commodore Vortagh!
Mr. Vortagh has been promoted to the newly formed rank of System Governor - roughly equivalent to a Major General or Rear Admiral - to head this group. Governor Vortagh has the experience needed to complete the job... In his Imperial career, he has been heavily involved in many competitions throughout GE history - including but not by any means limited to: GE Domination II, Supremacy II, and Outer Sectors! Plans are already underway for a new competition which he is heavily involved with and this position will only aid in the development of that from idea to reality.
However, Governor Vortagh's promotion & transfer leaves a vacancy in the role of GE Tactical Coordinator; nevertheless this position has been filled and Admiral Fel will release this announcement later this evening.
May all congratulation Governor Vortagh on his new post, may he assist in the leading the Empire to a new era once again!

Announcement 2 is from myself...
Subject: New Tactical Co-ordinator Announced!
Further to Fleet Admiral Polanski's announcement regarding the Imperial
Department of Strategic Development, and the promotion of Vortagh - it
was necessary to seek a new Tactical Co-ordinator.
One candidate presents himself as the obvious choice, and that is Major
General Jagged Fel! Though his career thus far has been in the Imperial
Army, his Imperial Department of Military Research (IDMR) work is
exemplary and he is tremendously well qualified for the job. As such,
it is my pleasure to promote him to the naval rank of Vice Admiral!
Jagged Fel moves up one rank (as Major General is equivalent to Rear
Admiral) and into the Imperial Navy as the Sector Group II Flag Officer,
stationed aboard the VSD Striker.
In addition, this promotion will lead to even more collaboration between
the Office of Tactical Co-ordination and the IDMR.
Once again, Vice Admiral Jagged Fel - welcome to the Imperial Navy, and
congratulations once again!
