No need to worry about that, Sergeant. If someone has earned a rank, they deserved to be referred to by it during official communications. On a more casual note, however, I do realize that it shouldn't matter much at all. But, you do hold an NCO rank and you work for a living, so perhaps I will refrain from calling you "sir" and stick to addressing by ranks.

Whatever works for you, I'm an easy guy to deal with, unless of course you go AWOL in Blitz Detachment. In that case, TL Nathan and myself get to poke you with hot needles and shave your facial hair with a vibroblade (it can't be any worse than Admiral Jansen feeding AWOL cadets to his rancor).

Enisgn Russell, You are of the officer ranks in the navy. The first officer rank in the navy. the MSG is of the Non-Com ranks in the Legion. Since the Legion has a totaly diffrent ranking system. So its really hard to compare ranks. Since he holds a high Non-Com rank in the Legion, we should bear respect for him. But since he is not a officer yet, we do not call him sir. And Sgt.s are not sirs
... they are a Sgt.
But as i said, since he got a high rank and position so fast, i do respect him, even though in relations to all the Imperial rank charts i have seniorty[/i]

Yes, sir, you do have seniority over me, and I will continue to respect and honor your authority. Now for officers ranked below me, I really care little about how I am addressed, so long as profanity is not used.
Once again, thank you all very much for your compliments. I shan't let the Empire down! Hasta la victoria siempre!!

Newcomers always tend to be rough around the edges. Thankfully, there are always people to help polish them out and become effective members of a team. For that, I must thank both you, Lieutenant Solidis, as well as Ensign Russell for whipping me into shape. Incidentally, I alluded to my tendency for crudeness in my Officer Profile, if you have an eye for that sort of thing...
