...or is the ge:er domain VERY slow these days? The rest of the net seems fast as usual for me, but this domain reacts quite slow whenever I - for example - start up the messageboards.

It's sporadic. Sometimes it's slow, sometimes it isn't. I'll start making a notes of what times it's slow at, to see if they're rational, as opposed to random.

What it does here, is take several seconds to do anything.
Let's say I got to the "new posts since you have been here last" and click on a thread that has new posts on it to read them, I will then look at the "new posts page" for at least 4 or 5 seconds till I can even see any signs of the page's activity.

Well.. We were going to be moving the board to its own database, but its not been done yet. That should solve any speed issues.

That's correct. About 20 minutes ago, I was viewing the ladders, reporting a few matches and looking at some profiles. Every page loaded slowly.

I've noticed things going slowly today, but then again there are broadband issues down here at the moment, so I can't say with any certainity that its the Domain that's slowing up.

The Message Board is on the same database as the rest of the GE:ER sites. It seems to slow it a little and we need to move the Message Board to its own. It should speed things up.

Just now, the MBs were slow. But my report went through Admin pretty speedily.
