Several years ago, when I was the First Officer and acting captain of the Chimaera, La Forge was one of my lieutenants. I got tired of his incessant jokes and the last straw was when he replaced the ship's shield generators with oversized Christmas trees. As a result, I issued a memo cancelling Christmas (on the Chimaera, at least) and drawing the Fleet's attention to certain things that would not be permitted on my ship. When you read the memo, you'll see the kinds of things I outlawed.
