EAWDare Challange by an Ensign

Post by Marcus Darkstar »

I know theres a quite a few EAW players here and What im saying is I want a challange for once. So i Hereby request a 1vs1 space battle for anyone whos willing.
Im quite a skilled EAW player ( Max Reem my captain and the new ensign Hadrian can tesitfy to that opion). I of course want these battles to be scheduled on the combat ladders and ect.

If you feel bold we can spice the battles a bit i suppose with a bit of betting though i have no idea what we could bet on..

Marcus: my advice, watch it. Egos are what get you cleaning the exterior of a frigate with a toothbrush while entering the atmoshpere in a spacesuit. :?

I dont have much of an ego. And if i do I respect my higher officers anyway. Steel i wouldnt surive against in a dogfight but EAW were pretty evenly matched. ( which is good seeing EAW is my primary platform i should be good in it) So far no ones beaten me in a match and I rarely do only times that i do nowadays is when its a team vs team match and i have bad allies. or Its a Land battle im not as good at those as I am in space..

So much fuss.
If someone is better than me, very good. We need good players for the near future and it would also wonder me if an EaW unit member would have trouble against my humble skills :p

There is always someone better than oneself. If not, it starts getting odd. And it was always my philosophy that a defeat is much more instructive than a victory as long as one has the endurace to keep on it until one day he comes out victorious himself.

Those who feel their egos crushed after a defeat or, even worser, cannot admit a defeat are true fools and will probably never learn anything at all.

[edit] got myself rid of some typos

Very well spoken steel.. Agreed on all counts. I tend to analyze a defeat afterwards to see what went wrong. I love challaging matches winning itself isnt my goal.

Glendon: Au contraire! Egos are what get you ordering people to clean the outer hull of a VSD with their toothbrushes. And yes, I am speaking from experience here. :P

:? Thats hardly practical and runs the risk of losing crew drifting off in to space.
