<VA_JagFel> Though updates to the Imperial Officers' Manual have been infrequent, I am happy to report that the pace of updates will be increasing. There is a new temporary duty assignment group: Imperial Officers' Manual Maintenance. The leader of this group, our editor in chief, is Ensign Zarkana. She is already conducting a review of the manual to bring several key elements up to date. No doubt there will be news from her in the near future.

<VA_JagFel> You may recall that I mentioned last time that there was some review of the Empire at War Campaign ladder proceeding. This has unfortunately not been a priority lately, but work on it will resume soon.

<VA_JagFel> ICTE is taking place today (until midnight Eastern time) in #outerrim - multiplayer combat for all; you can earn another pin towards your Imperial Star. The most common games played are Empire at War, Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy - but there are others as well. I hope to see excellent participation!

<WC_Muscat> I'll get straight to the point: It saddens me to announce that I shall be retiring from active service with the Empire at the end of this month, after six years' continuous service on the ISD Chimaera.
<WC_Muscat> My reasons for this are numerous and I shall not list them here; but suffice to say I wish the Empire all the best and am certain that it will continue to grow in strength and numbers under Fleet Admiral Fel et al.
