I have never had the honor of meeting you till now! But for me, actions always rank higher than hotair being blown up someones butt! Nope! Apparently the straight people went there to poke at the gay people and laugh at them. Straight people and lesbians are now legally barred, in order to preserve the atmosphere.

I wonder how they feel about transgenered and intersex?

I can't work out of I'm outraged or delighted!

It seems as if they can be barred, but it's not as if all heterosexuals aren't allowed in anymore: "Mr McFeely also stressed that he did not wish to ban all heterosexuals." Now, the way I understand that it works in the US (correct me if I'm wrong, anyone) is that if the owner of a private club wants to turn you away for any reason, s/he can do so - if you don't look a certain way or seem drunk or belligerent or what have you. However, you could always accuse them of discrimination (although that is precisely what they are doing - they're discriminating against ugly people or those with poor fashion sense or what have you.) To get the club in trouble, they have to be excluding people illegally, for example, based on race or dis/ability status. I assume that Australia has exclusive clubs as well, and the breakthrough here is just that sexual orientation can now be used as a criterion for exclusion in this club - not that they're making this a completely gay-only space.
