FRG Thunderbolt LT Position Open!

Officers of the Empire:

This is official notice that Commander La Forge and Captain Calder are now accepting applications for the position of FRG Thunderbolt CO. We are looking for a capable officer to take the reigns of the ship and actively work with the crew.

Required Abilities/Skills:
* Email response time of under 72 hours
* Creative methods for performing job function
* Report writing skills
* Ability to work with superiors and subordinates alike to accomplish goals
* Use of either IRC or AIM communication clients
* Squadron Leadership and Navy Officer Exams complete

Bonus Abilities/Skills:
* Basic web design (hosting can be provided by ER.net)
* Email response time of under 36 hours

Applicants should review the section in the GE Officer's Manual concerning the duties of Lieutenant in the Imperial Navy.

Applicantions should include, at minimum, the following:
* Name
* Current Assignment
* Any past leadership experiences (mostly looking for GE, but if there's something IRL that you think is good, go for it)
* Why you believe you are the best applicant for the position
* Anything else you wuold like the reviewing officers to know

Applications will be open for one week and will close on the 12th at 23:59:59 CST. Application format can be either TXT, HTML, DOC, or PDF (PDF or HTML perfered). Also note that if you have applied for the new FRG LT position, you may still apply here; conflicts will be worked out later if required.

Time has nearly run out. Remember, serving as a lieutenant onboard the Thunderbolt puts you in a wonderfully fulfulling position.

Additionally, if I can brag a bit, it lets you work closely with Commander La Forge and myself - which many officers will attest can be a very rewarding experience.

As you all may be aware, the deadline for applications has closed. However, due to certain circumstances which must remain confidential at the moment, we will not be announcing the new commanding officer of the Thunderbolt at this time.

Jamie: No, it's because we were going to forcibly PROMOTE you to the position, because clearly any position which reports to me is superior than one that does not.

Look I was a great Lieutenant (so I'm told), I'm just enjoying my current position.
