The fourth Guard Games are now open! Those wishing to become a Royal Guardsman may enter and face each other as well as current Guardsmen to become part of this elite group of warriors.

Be warned; due to the lacklustre committment to participation in the Third Games, those who don't turn up and play their opponent in time will be eliminated immediately.

On a lighter note, the Distraction tournaments won't be returning this year. Instead, there will be free-for-all battles requiring at least four players to be played. I also want to remind the Navy that their members can participate - this is a GE-wide competition, not one simply restricted to Imperial Army members.

Read the Events page. There have been many changes from the previous Games. If I am asked anything which can be answered by reading the Events page, I will respond with RTFEP and consider you an idiot for the duration of the Games.

Glendon, I wasn't poking you in particular. It was a general 'get off your ass' message to all members of both Companies.

And since Mr. O'Moran has signed up, this post is going to poke the JO players within the Navy. The guard does not exlude Navy members - hell, the effective second-in-command of the Guard is the CoN himself.

So brush your copy of JO off and send me an email!

Signups for the tournaments have now closed. The turnout is pretty much the same as they were in the Third Games, although with a few different faces. You can see the tournament pairings on the relevant pages, so I won't bore you by reiterating them here.

Matches for the first round must be played before or on Friday. Matches for the second round must be played before or on Monday. The finals will be played before or on Wednesday next week.

Anyone who does not play their matches will be eliminated by the end of the last day of the round. There is more latitude for JA participants, as they don't have as many rounds to go through.

As usual, eliminations will be updated as I receive them. Now... onto other aspects of the events. I might not have explained the FFA Battles event clearly - you may play any bunch of people on any server - including public ones - in a fresh match. When someone reaches 20 kills, the match is over and you can submit it to me. If anyone is still confused, contact me immediately.
