Hello from the past

Thought I'd come by and say a hello from the distant past, I was just going through some of my old files and found some old reports from my ex-C.O., from Omicron Squadron, Lt. Greigh and Cpt. Pavz from VSD Striker. I'm surprised to see quite alot of you are still here and its good to see the GE still going strong ever since I first joined 7-8 years ago. Just wanted to say keep up the good work, looks like your doing one hell of a job. Its good to see an Army section was finally implemented, I may come back for a spell and try out the new games if I find the time. Anyways good luck with everything!

Hey again,

Do you guys support Republic Commando, or did you support it and then there was lack of popularity? I'm trying to get into BFII and BG but having trouble getting interested with the lack of graphics and some what difficult playing style.

We do support it, indeed.

Unfortunately, at the moment there is no unit featuring it as main platform for this time; but if you use to use BF2 and GB come back anyway, also several guys are on the RC ladders at all.

I was originally a TIE pilot back before the Army or even the NCO Corps was founded, so never got into those games

Republic Commando is a very disappointing game, multiplayer-wise. There wasn't ever much interest in playing it.

Battlefront II and Jedi Outcast are the Army's two top platforms, in terms of MP. You're more than welcome to rejoin the Army with any platform currently supported, though.

Hey, I was a XWA pilot years ago, too; and without playing much MP in all my years got used to the Army, too. ItÂ´s possible and, though not beeing the Navy, still very nice over here.

And by the way, the NCO-corps was decommissioned some years ago.

Ouch, has really been that long

I'll have a look at Outcast and see if that catches my interest.
