Officers of the Imperial Navy's Frigates:
I am posting this here for your ease of reference, in addition to the email that should have been forwarded to you by your lieutenants. If, for some reason, you have not gotten this message from your lieutnant, I would request you let me know immediately. This competition was created by Lieutenant Seldon of the FRG Typhoon, and I have been asked by him and Line Captain Laithlis to administer it for the time-being.
The "Frigate Challenge" will be commenced as scheduled on 29 June 2007 and continue until 27 July 2007. All point scales and competition items are as described below by Lieutenant Seldon, but for reporting purposes use the following procedure:
For the AWOL check, it will be as simple as each frigate officer reporting
in to me with a CC to your frigate captain stating that you have received
this email. That will count.
Send each submission to myself and Commander La Forge, and for those of you attached to the Chimaera, send copies to Line Captain Laithlis as well. For my ease, please state exactly what it is and who it belongs to in the subject line, for example: "CL Calder,VSD Striker, Fiction". This will make it *much* easier for me to organize. Likewise, if you complete an Academy exam, forward the copy to me with the subject line as appropriate: "CL Calder, VSD Striker, Academy Exam".
For combat, state which officers played in the subject line, for example "Calder vs. La Forge". You can give me details regarding what map and who won in the email itself. It would be best if the officers participating
emailed me *immediately* at the completion of the match so that I do not
have to wait around for both emails to arrive. Remember, if you don't submit it you don't get credit. (As a side note, I notice that no mention is made for who actually wins the most battles. I will be awarding a medal to the officer with the most victories independent of the rest of the competition when it is over).
Once I have some trivia questions assembled, I will send them out. Expect
that within the next day or so.
------Following is the original challenge made by LT Seldon-------
Challenge of the Frigates
As the Chinook, Thunderbolt, Tornado, Tsunami, and Typhoon all gather near Elrood, the Challenge of the Frigates prepares to get started. This Challenge is an event to measure the activity level of Officers aboard the Imperial Navy’s Frigates. This Challenge will also test members abilities as a Officer, Leader, and Pilot. Within this competition there will be a series of diverse events, each with a point value. Finish all activities, and the most active member, and active Frigate will be rewarded in accordance with this format:
-The Frigate with the most participates and points will be awarded as the most active Frigate in the Imperial Navy. Every Officer aboard that frigate that took part in the challenge will receive a LComm.

After you receive the scores for the exam, forward the exam to me. 1 point will be earned for each one you take, 2 points will be earned for each one you already have taken. 2 point will be give to your frigate for each exam taken or took.
