How Outer Sectors Works
========================
Every two weeks, a new chapter of the story is released. Each chapter contains a part of the story, and new missions. Each group of players is given an assignment. Groups are by platform, so for example, all TIE Players will be given an assignment of a particular mission. You should complete this mission, and turn in your pilot file (TIE, XvT, or XWA) or your screenshot of your score screen (GB, EaW) to Moff Jansen, whose sole responsibility is scoring. You should also send your pilot file or screenshot to your direct superiour, who will file the FPR using GE Administration.

The deadline for submitting your mission to get points is ten (10) days after the release of the chapter. If you turn it in later than this, it counts as being "out of turn".

If you do not have an assigned mission (for example, because you are a Ship Captain or Brigade Commander, or you are a member of a Jedi Outcast unit), then any one of the missions you turn in will count as your assignment. For example, if you are in a JO unit and you turn in a TIE mission, it will count towards your points as though it were assigned. The next chapter you may fly the XWA mission and it will count as though it were assigned. Then the following week, you turn in TIE and XWA - one will count as assigned, and one as assigned to others.

You may wish to submit fiction, either because it is assigned to you (as happens from time to time) or for extra points. To submit fiction, you must post it in the Outer Sectors II Fiction forum on the GE Messageboards at http://www.empirereborn.net/holonet/ .

Keep in mind that the more people fly a mission, the better the outcome for the Empire! All chapters have positive and negative outcomes, depending on your level of performance.

How Scoring Works
===================

There are two categories for scoring: Simulation and Other.

-- Simulation based points
Completing the current simulation assigned to you - 15 pts
Completing simulations assigned to others - 8 pts
Completing campaign simulations out of chapter - 5 pts
"Training" on any non-completed Combat chamber mission (not campaign sims) - 4 pts
Creation of a new simulation - 10 pts

Fiction as assigned to you - 8 - 15 points
A chapter of your own telling your part in the story (allowed once per chapter, post in the RP Forum) - 0 - 5 pts
Campaign based graphics - up to 10 pts
Your recruited cadet graduates - 10 pts

Keep in mind that the score chart may not be up to date at all times.

At the end of the campaign, scores will be summed up and the final awards and scores will be announced.
