EAW Scoring : From the Tactical Coordinator's Office

EAW Missions Scoring is now in effect:

*All Officers processing files will use this system to score EAW
missions submitted.

Space Station :

Level 1 : 100 pts
Level 2 : 200 pts
Level 3 : 300 pts
Level 4 : 450 pts
Level 5 : 600 pts

Pirates Station : : 150 pts

Pirates
Frigate : 80 pts
IPV : 50 pts
Merchant
Freighter : 15 pts

Laser pad : 25 pts
Missiles
Pad : 20 pts
Mine : 50 pts


Heroes :
Solo,Vader,Raymus
Fett,Luke : 150 pts
Ackbar
Piett : 300 pts


Imperial Ships :

ISD : 250 pts
VSD : 175 pts
INT : 125 pts
Acc : 100 pts
Tartan : 70 pts
Broadside
Cruiser : 75 pts
Imp Landing
Craft : 15 pts Tyderium
Shuttle : 10 pts

Rebel Ships :

Mon Cal : 275 pts
Assault
Frigate : 120 pts
NebulonB : 100 pts
Marauder : 75 pts
Corvette : 70 pts
Gunboat : 50 pts
Gallofree : 20 pts
Shuttle : 15 pts


Time :

Under 10 min : No penalty
10-19:59 min : - 100 pts
20-29:59 min : - 200 pts
30-39:59 min : - 300 pts
40-49:59 min : - 400 pts
50-59:59 min : - 500 pts
Over 1 hour : -1000 pts

*Points are awarded for every Kills.
*Points are deducted for every losses.
*A score of 0 or lower is considered a defeat and
cannot be submitted for credits.
*All other items not shown on this list is not
to be counted.

The missions that were processed before the publication of this list will be
scored again.

Erm, Sir may i recommend to not rescore those missions which were sent to the OS already? As they cant be resend and example me werent paying attention to these scores as i didnt know about it =).

As long as the screenshots are floating around in various emails, there's no need to refly them as we can update the scores manually.

What i mean is in the OS, we cant refly mission, can we? This way we may get lower score just because this scoring system wasnt installed back then.

You get a lump-sum score for OS:II. Since EaW is your designated platform, you get 15 points for a EaW mission submited, nothing more nothing less (unless its late).

This new scoring system will only impact the score you recieve once your superior has processed the FPR.

Hey Mar, are you sure about the time penalty being so direct? There are/will be missions that will definitly need longer then 10 minutes.

Those same missions usually end up with a lot more potential kills. In about 10 minutes more, it's possible to kill three MC80s(provided you have the necessary bombers or ISDs), which gives you 825 points.

ERS-194 and ERS-195 are examples of missions that take a while but both of them offer you plenty of things to kill - especially the former. I took down Ackbar and four MC80s(plus a whole loadsa other shit) in 41 minutes. I'm down 400 points for the time, but I'm up 1400 from the five I mentioned.

I find this scoring balanced. More you play, the more you kill (and more worthy you kill).

Plus there's the need to keep our thumbs out. I honestly admit that most, if not all, of my GB high scores resulted from just sitting around until they became high enough. EaW is potentially like this, especially when both sides retain the capacity to construct more ships.

Maybe the word "penalty" is what makes you unconfortable.

1- Any system Is good as long as it's the same system we use for everybody. It doesn't matter if player 'X' finishes with 100 poitns or 10 000 points. As long as player 'Y' as a pretty close score.

2- If we takes Munro exemple. In EAW, once you control the map. You can play for 3 hours on the same map. This could give many, many points. The 1000 points penalty for playing over an hour won't make a difference.

3- I'm a EAW Elite Pilot. I don't like seeing GE pilots taking forever doing 1 single mission. I wan't them good and fast. This is the key in Multiplayer engagements. Take my word for it. And be my teamate in the next ICTE.

I hope this helps. Because the system as been created and is now in effect.
