Line Captain Mar was promoted to Commodore Mar and (after Commodore Wedge stepped down from being Tactical Coordinator) was given the position of Tactical Coordinator. As such, CD Mar has left the ISD Nemisis and Commander Junon (previously the Striker's XO) has been promoted to Captain and given command of the Nemisis. The point of telling you this is that now there is no First Officer on the Striker.

For severe inactivity unbecoming of a ship's First Officer, SL Wilson has been removed from his post and given the rank of Ensign First Class. Let this be (and the incident with Acheron) be a warning for those who go inactive and fail to give me a reason for doing so.

On the happier side, after reviewing applications for Chinook 1O, a candidate has been choosen. Due to Admin problems and security constraints, I cannot reveal said person until they have been promoted. But we will be getting a new First Officer, so when he arrives, drinks are on him!

I would like to congratulate and welcome our newest addition to the crew, Sub-Lieutenant Nick Fewrfreyut. He is now the Chinook's First Officer.

EN Konigstiger is havening some computer problems, specifically he needs to de-virus, so communications and activity will be sparse.

On a GE wide level, the Army's 2nd Brigade has been closed down and everyone has been consolidated into 1st Brigade.

The Chinook is now absent of all inactive officers. This is both good and saddening, for, at least in the beginning, EF Wilson and EN Fox were moderately active and maintained email contact. These are hard times for the GE:ER: recruitment is down and inactivity is high. It is questionable if we shall ever see another golden age experienced by Daemon.

LC Drazhar has been promoted to CL Drazhar and is now the new Senior Fleet Officer. Please pass your congratulations on to him and if you should need to contact him, his email is: drazhar@faolain.net.

I have received emails from EN Konigstiger and he apologizes for lack of activity. He has says that his family will need to purchase a new computer before any more activity will resume.
