*Salute* Greetings fellow Imperials! I am here to post the official Galactic Empire: Empire Reborn Recruitment Trailer - exclusively for Youtube! Remember that you can play XWA with or without direct3D support. If you play without it, it looks just like refitted and pushed XVT.

Well... according to my title, I'm the resident... oh, screw this, I'm the resident badass no matter my title, rank or position.

Since you seem really, genuinely enthusiastic about this, I will try to keep the level of Syrcasm to a minimum, but I must ask this question: When you thought that a baby blue background - and yes, I do know it's not technically baby blue, I just said baby blue to make it sound more insulting, don't give me the RAL code for it, thank you very much - with some text that uses a font that has absolutely zero resemblance to anything ever remotely associated with Star Wars, is a good representation of Imperial Power and Coolness (TM), what, in the name of the Emperor and whatever is most sacred to you, were you smoking?

As for constructive criticism: 1) Change the background and font color to something more Star Wars-ish. Black and yellow comes to mind. And change the font, too.
2) This is supposed to be a movie. Youtube is a platform for movies. Not slideshows. How about adding some actual ingame movie sequences?
3) What the HELL are those wobbly game package pictures supposed to represent? That we're as soft as pudding?

PUH-leaaaase tell me that you half-heartedly threw this together after staggering home from a wild party and that you can hardly remember what was going on when you posted this. Because I really, really, really, really want to believe that you can do better than this.

I have to give you some credit for at least doing something, though, as opposed to all those halfwits who sit on the roster not even bothering to visit the IRC channel or posting here every now and again.

You're right. sir. You're 100% right. I will speak to Lieutenant Nickoli about making a 3rd video that meets your standards sir (no sarcasm implied). Baby blue, what were we thinking. That's not Imperial at all. And the moving images will be rendered static! I assure you! Video clips too will be inserted sir. Rest easy knowing that all will be well with the Trailer in a matter of time, sir.

And no sir, we did not create this after coming back from a party

Syrtaras: You are right, what were we thinking about the blue and red. It has nothing and shows nothing about the empire. You were also right about the moving pictures and the whole changing color effect, it does not fit the empire.
But for the moving clips I disagree, I have seen slideshows on youtube before. I don't have the best movie maker in the world and it is good for making slide shows but putting movie clips puts it to its max, and then the movie normally, does not come out that great.
This movie only had one reason for being made and it is to show the world that we are out there. Beucase there is nothing out there to tell them that we are here. Yes mabey nobody has joined because of this movie but they are viewing it and might join later so it is doing what it needs to.
