Ok, after wading through this abomination of a thread, I have the following to say:

@Nexant, while I dislike how Xayun always goes into overdrive when it comes to telling people they are wrong, before you attack Xayun for attacking you, please note that you are the one who brought this upon you yourself, by - as Xayun pointed out - sarcastically commenting towards his "refined taste".

He stated several reasons why the Force Unleashed is crap (and comparable to EPIII. Of course it's not the same bloody game).
And I have to admit, that as much as I'd enjoy playing the game for the fun effect of that engine, if you look closely and compare it to what LA made it look like, it is - in fact - an overhyped piece of crap that fails to deliver any of the parts that made the game truly outstanding. I won't even go into debating the endless fanboi-debates on how it is gods gift to the SW-loving humanity and clearly the best SW game EVAR. Hell, I enjoy playing games that most of you would find utterly boring and crap, but I don't hype them.

@Glendon, trying to attack the local GE-smartass with something as thinly disguised as that attack, warrants everything you got in return.

People, wether it's pulling rank or trying to be a smartass - you reap what you sow. So don't go around bitchnig, whining and moaning about it, when you get what you knew was coming. And btw - Pulling rank in the GE in general is pretty lame. This isn't the real military, never will be and so on and so on. Pulling rank, for something that you just handed out yourself, one post earlier and apparently do not want to happen to yourself, is ridiculously lame.

In the end, I totally agree with Lord Syrtararsch, errr, Syrtaras here.

P.S.: Glendon, "destroying" a Troll? How? I seriously doubt anybody - and that includes your local smartass/wiseguy Syrtaras, could destroy anybody over a lame discussion on an MB.

I wonÂ´t play it.

First it is a console game with all its "good" and bad sides.
Second, the trailer shows a Imperator-class STD cruising deep within a planetÂ´s atmosphere.
Third, I have the impression that the gamer has more power than the icons of SW themselves.

Pretty much; in the last level you beat Darth Vader and the Emperor, in that order. Yoda couldn't beat the Emperor!

Vort, speaking of games no one else (besides me) likes, how's the latest Paradox game coming? Did you see they're developing HoI3?

Yeah, Laith linked me to it. I'm psyched! Currently I am wasting my time on Medieval Total War 2 and WinSPWW2.

I'm a big fan of the Total War series. MedII was awesome. They're making one right now set during the Napoleonic Wars.

I just saw news on HoI a day ago, looks sweet. I enjoy the other HoI's, can't get it to play online but its great offline.

As for The Forced Unleash, I was saddened on how fast and short the story is. My brother beat it the day he bought it.

We gave the kid the game for Christmas (on the Wii). We also gave him the Wii Lightsaber.
