Operation IRON FIST

Officers of the Army,

I am nearly finished developing a turn-based hex war game that can be played via e-mail. There will be two sides, the red team and the blue team, and participating officers will command companies on the "board". Officers on their respective sides will be responsible with talking amongst themselves and developing a strategy and then implementing it.

Each officer will (most likely) command one or two battalions, with the base unit being a company. I will be acting as game master and all officers will e-mail their respective orders to me once a phase has completed. I will get more specific as I put the final work into the rules.

This war game is designed to facilitate learning of strategy beyond the working of individual soldiers. And, of course, to have fun

I am asking all who would be interested in participating in this war game express their interest by posting a reply to this thread.

Actually, I'd be willing to lead the Navy members of the RG if you could work a third side in. We don't have to be as large as the red and blue teams, just there to make a small impact.

We shall see if there is room for everyone. Regular army members have priority, then Royal Guard, and then anyone else, if there is room.
