I've got XvT running on two XP machines, but then again, I've never tried MP with it. I guess I'll see what happens in a few weeks.
Are you using the Master CD, or the MP CD?

It's "CL Calder". LC stands for Lt. Commander, CL for Captain of the Line, which is the longer variant of Line Captain.

Sorry, I thought that Line Captain would be abbreviated by LC. I didn't know about that, "Captain of the Line" thing. I'm sorry CL Calder!

I don't think it's a problem. As long as you don't start calling him "Caldy" or anything, it should be alright. :P

I've sent in my initial proposal for how the battle should be set up, but I have yet to receive a response. I'm expecting it anytime now though.

i just checked it and i got a bad attachment, didnt come through... can some one just tell me where i am and what squadron i get?

It doesn't work like that at this stage, Lieutenant. I merely sent out a practice mission set up similiar to how the actual battle will be formed. In the mission, you are free to choose whatever craft you like to fly. The number of waves and squadron assignment will be determined at a later date. Each squadron (and pilot) will have a specific mission. For example, if you fly a T/I squadron your mission will primarily be to protect the star destroyers from enemy bomber attack.

I read your messages. Are bombers going to even be a realistic threat? I mean real pilots won't increase the torp's effectiveness. Also, I am going to practice like never before. I don't want to let the Empire down. Any word on when the battle will take place? Also, my new computer is not internet capable; damaged modem. Will my 5 year old piece of junk be able to play, or will I have time to get the modem fixed? Thanks,

Actually, PC flown bombers *are* a real threat. Players can dumb fire their torps, which means that the capital ships won't lock on to them. They can also dodge better. This makes them more effective and deadly.

As for your modem, you're probably the only person that can answer that.
