Important Info For FW Players!

I may be overstepping my boundaries a bit, but this is info you need to know.

First off, until we become an official group on the US Server, please be aware that you will need to have the [IMP] tag at the beggining of your nick, or face being banned from the server.

Second, please check often for spyware and adware on your pc. Burnout, who owns the server, has a program that identifies IP's of players that have spyware and such on their pc. Again, you will be banned if any is found.

I would hate to see any of us banned before we get to experience the full potential of this game.

There is a lot involved when you install the update. You need to download the mod and Free Lander Mod Manager to install it and activate it. If anyone needs any help with this please send me an e-mail.

BTW, Phantom is correct. You need to add [IMP] all in caps to your name or else the admins will kick/ban you or something.

Anyways, the game seems interesting. Just started playing yesterday and saw Phantom and a few more ERers. I hope to see more of you.

ahmm, why do you people choose [IMP]??
there are a lot factions to choose, and if we want to be RPG-correct, we must choose [IN] for imperial navy, take a look at the following list:

As you stated, yes there are many factions to choose from. But, unless you are listed on a specific factions user list, you cannot use most of those tags.

So, before you start playing, I agree that everyone read the rules stated on the links provided by Splatter.

My guess: Phantom. Look at the style and the lack of typos (well, mostly :P). Sheesh, Sol - it's not that difficult. A lawyer that drives a BMW should be able to tell these things... :P

You being dyslexic has... what to do with my statement? You asked who posted above, I told you what to look at in order to find out. It really isn't that hard to tell who wrote what, even if there's no name attached to it. There are a few things to look at: Grammar, style, spelling, length of sentences, degree of interest in this thread etc. As I said - a lawyer (and a JAG officer, at that) who managed to earn enough money to drive a BMW should be able to tell. ;-)

To put it nicely, yes the "Guest" was me. For some unknown reason, I forgot I didn't log in before I made that post. So, Syrt gets the prize for correctly identifying our "mystery guest"

I don't know if that's in the list of allowable things to do on the MBs. *Checks list* I don't think there's anything about not choking the creator.
