Back on to the topic...
It appears that we have only a few further leads, but then the trail ends...
- We have found no identifying traces of fingerprints or dna in General Jansen's office. Any info must have been wiped off, or covered in rancor materials. Either that or the theif wore gloves.
- The rancor, and we assume the theif, has left the ISD Nemesis. No trace has been found after a full shipwide search.
- No other ships in the area have reported any strange events (such as a rancor walking by) and so we assume that it's been taken to a planet nearby.
- Security logs and ship logs show no trace either of them leaving the ship, so they must have been altered at the same time.
- Our greatest lead so far, is a note left in General Jansen's mailbox. Made out of newspaper letter cuttings, it reads "I'll get you, await my demands". Not too helpful, but it points to a motive, although this is still unknown.
All we can do now ladies and gentlemen is hope that either our investigative team can come up with some answers, or that the mystery thief reveals themselves...

You would think that one of my routine seacrhes would find something as noticeable as a giant rancor, but I have had no such luck (however, Captain Chu has some interesting thoughts on who the rising stars in GE happen to be, and I could go on and on about the Navy Commander). May I request a strike team with tranquilizer rifles and gas grenades and a shuttle to travel about the galaxy in search of Jacob Jr.? I will help you find your pet, General Jansen, if it takes us to the ends of the galaxy!!

This is LT Solidis reporting from Cell Block D where i'm planning to take over the empire, but back on topic... I think either:
A: Calder did it, because of Jacob Jr. [expletive deleted] all over his ship. He did not like that, and he didnt seem to like that Admiral Jansen had a rancor. Think about it,
Quote Calder : "So there I am, walking down the passageway, smelling like [expletive deleted] and covered in rancor [expletive deleted] when who should I run into but Polanski AND that cute girl who just got assigned to Avionics. Of course, I'm really gonna [expletive deleted] Rala up when I see him. The Admiral laughed at me, that sick [expletive deleted] and the girl thought I was just some senile old captain who [expletive deleted] his [expletive deleted] pants"
I mean that would make any man mad. And Calder hase an army clone... so thats where the boot comes in.
B: Jansen did it to avoid the wraith of Calder, and get away with the problems his rancor. If Jacob Jr. wasnt kidnaped, then Admiral Jansen would have alot to answer for... and alot of smelly [expletive deleted] to clean up.
And it had to be one of either of these people, because they are the ones with high authority to erase data...

To redeem yourself, Detainee 12945789-SS, you can be a member of my intergalactic task force, should it be commissioned to find the wicked perpetrator of Jacob Jr.'s abduction.
I should routinely search that Avionics girl's cabin. She might have some information from her many...travels...that might be of help to this investigation....

What happens if the thief just killed the thing, and is still trying to get a ransom? Could it of been hidden in a ship being used for target practice by a Navy Squadron? In which case, will never see the rancor again! *Sob*

Detainee such and such and whosy-whats-it, you are stripped of all power and rank when detained without charge and no guarantee of trial (some security measures granted on behalf of analysts like myself). As for why I detained you, it's none of your business until I bother to charge you. How are those interrogator droids treating you?
You could lead our task force, Captain. It saves Admiral Polanski the trouble of hiring bounty hunters, if nothing else...

SGM Mittchell: you are here by ordered to stop that now. First off, i was never a Detainee, nor have i be charged with anything.
Now Sargent, i sugest that you look here: http://databank.empirereborn.net/index. ... .RankChart
I am above you, and i can order you to stop, and guess what... i just did
it was funny for a little wile, and i played along with it, but lets stop this ok? I dont like to be made a fool out of, and i dont think you would either.
Now, i think this is the time the HC tell us who kidnaped Jacob Jr. well they are supose to once someone guesses it right. so either i'm wrong, or they just arnt going to tell us yet.

Okay, then, the charade will stop. Besides, the schtick was wearing out anyway. I sent a letter to the SFO about another little incident last night, but my shenanigans are hereby terminated with respect to senior officers. My apologies for the offense. Let's put this behind us and wait for new leads in the kidnapping debacle, shall we?

Understood, sir. As I said, the good Captain Calder might publish a Dear SFO letter I sent to him last night on the MBs, but after that, I will not push the issue with you anymore. I might play around with some of the junior officers, but I did straddle the line a bit too hard with you.

as we all joke around Mitchell, but be sure not to discrase an officer too much ...thats my job

"receives glove slap from Solidis" -ther will be no glove slaping, i got a few of those when i was new. And hey, i was learning how we act here i didnt know... so there fore i shall spare you of the slap.
"Why?" you ask because i dont like to do that, its more efective to correct someone, and have them learn from it, then it is to slap and have them learn nothing and hate you.

I'd say the evidence supplied by CL Calder is self explanitory. CL Calder is the culprit.CL Calder wrote:I'm not sure if this will help, but when the Chimaera recently transferred the rancor to General Jansen's new abode, there was an "incident", which I made a log of. Unfortunately, I had to edit some of the log because of certain...uh...classified bits:
Captain's personal log: We picked up that [expletive deleted] rancor today at the Academy. God that thing smells like [expletive deleted]. Then, to make it worse, Rala fed the [expletive deleted] thing some [expletive deleted] chili! I mean [expletive deleted]! What the [expletive deleted] was he thinking? Now the whole [expletive deleted][expletive deleted] and [expletive deleted]! Really!
So there I am, walking down the passageway, smelling like [expletive deleted] and covered in rancor [expletive deleted] when who should I run into but Polanski AND that cute girl who just got assigned to Avionics. I mean really, [expletive deleted] and [expletive deleted]. I'll tell you what I'd like to do to her...[expletive deleted][expletive deleted] and then some [expletive deleted] with a little [expletive deleted] thrown in for good measure. Of course, I'm really gonna [expletive deleted] Rala up when I see him. The Admiral laughed at me, that sick [expletive deleted] and the girl thought I was just some senile old captain who [expletive deleted] his [expletive deleted] pants.
I just can't get over how much that thing stank! My god, I didn't think ANY animal - even a rancor - could make such a [expletive deleted] mess of [expletive deleted]. Not only did it stink, but it was EVERYWHERE! I mean, rancor [expletive deleted] piled up to the rafters! How much chili did Rala feed the damned thing? I've never seen so much rancor [expletive deleted] before in my life, and that's saying a lot since I've seen a lot of rancor [expletive deleted].
Maybe by the time we get to the Nemesis I'll have this [expletive deleted] cleaned up and I won't smell like [expletive deleted][expletive deleted] because if Fel [expletive deleted] saw this he'd [expletive deleted] his [expletive deleted][expletive deleted].
Anyway, I'm not dealing with the [expletive deleted] rancor again. Jansen can kiss my [expletive deleted] if he thinks I'm going to go through this trouble twice. It'll take the Army AND the Navy to get me to handle that rancor on the way out. I have it locked up in one of the hangars now, and I'm sending ensigns in to clean the [expletive deleted] up every hour or so...and even then it's dangerous. I've lost twelve ensigns so far: the rancor ate five of the poor [expletive deleted] and the other seven passed out from the [expletive deleted] gas. I had to send the next batch in with [expletive deleted] tranquilizers and [expletive deleted] space suits. Do you have any idea how [expletive deleted] expensive this is? Jansen owes me big time. I hope his [expletive deleted] rancor develops a [expletive deleted][expletive deleted] ulcer and [expletive deleted] the bed.
Who keeps a [expletive deleted] rancor as a pet anyway?
Anyway, I'm not sure if that will help, but it was the last I had to do with the rancor. Maybe someone can use this information.
Next issue. Do we shoot him on site?
