Big Archive update

The Archives are larger then ever... Thanks to the hard work of the members of the Imp.Arc team, and all those who helped to add to it.

But this post is to tell you all (those who dont know) the now the Archives will have pictures. Yes pictures!

But the poblem is that i only have so many. I was wondering if i could have the nice people in the GE send me all the Star Wars related Pictures they have, that they think would be good for the Archives. I need you send them to me, because i have to add them into the databank files in the GE:ER domain, before i can add them.

Then there is a catch... i cant open attachment to my e-mails for security reasons. So unless you can get them to apear in the e-mail (as where i can click, and save as) you'll have to contact me via AOL IM, and send them that way. Or if you have a web adress for the picture, please tell me that, and i can get them that way.

Again, thanks for all your hard work on the Archives, and all the had work thats to come.

Bear in mind that I do not wish the archives totally filled with pictures. I'd prefer one where the pictures are apprioate, not overdone.

Security concerns? Well... if you can see the pictures in the mail, you have set your program to display HTML mails - that's even less secure. :P

I have to agree with the Admiral on this one - perhaps only pics of medal and related, and maybe an "RL pics" section (similar to Zwibble.com), but nothing more.

Zwibble.com is still the (un)official RL picture thing, unless I am gravely mistaken. Allthough from what I know, it is still down as Zwib wants to rebuild it completely.

I'm sure it's still the offical one. This would just be an alternate that more people know about.

In the personal section, under Thrawn... i have one of him from TIE... i think it fits well... i didnt put 15 pics of thrawn... just maybe one or two at the most (2 for pages with alot of info)
