Officers of the Empire!

I am starting up the Empire Reborn Recruitment Competition! All members of the Empire are welcome to take part as RA Fel has approved for the Navy.

Medals

Each commissioned recruit will award you a [MoM]

5 or more commissioned recruits will award you a [BS]

10 or more commissioned recruits will award you a [SS]

*Special medals will be awarded to outstanding performance

Rules

1) Applicants must be using one of the GE:ER platforms. (TIE, XvT, XWA, FW, SWG, JK, JO, JA, GB, FC, BF)

2) Applicants must complete training at the Academy and be placed into a Company or Squadron for credit to be awarded.

3) Applicants must note you as their recruiter to get credit. (Option on the join form)

4) Comp starts on the 5th and ends on the 26th.

Suggestions

Use Gamespy < http://www.gamespy.com > or the MSN Zone < http://zone.msn.com/ > when looking for members. If you get any questions you cant answer, send them to me. Make sure to give them the join form < http://www.empirereborn.net/join.php > and the Academy website < http://academy.empirereborn.net >. If the join form is not updated with Battlefront, have them contact me.

There is no interest in this at all. That is sad.. This is one of the few things that you can do that directly helps the GE. We need members badly and I don't see much else we can do but go out and get them.

Pardon for the comment, but also it is important to add that it is what we can offer to the possible new members. Which would be the motive for which they would be interested in entering our club?
And as soon as they have entered â€¦: what is that we can do to retain them and to keep them active? (so much in the Academy like when they are assigned)
I have seen with sadness that some new members have been losing the interest in our club and it indicates that we are lacking something.
Please, the causes for this are many, and I am interested in knowing the opinion of all you. I make the discussion open. I have more enough that to say, but that other members of the GE has a better perspective on this individual.
As for this competition, it is necessary that we all could take part, we need fresh blood. But would be good to clarify the kindness of the GE to realize a campaign of propaganda (in which many of us we can already help it is creating banners, posters, intros, etc).

I agree with the Lt. The new members never join the boards, and they just drop out of existence. This sounds fun, but I have already tried to recruit people, and I don't think that they would be too active even if they wanted to join. I (with some spare time) created a pamphlet that we could hand out. I'll find it soon and try to send it out. Also we could make up the "Hello my name is.." stickers, only make them imperial.
Just some thoughts.

Seems like we all have been doing some RL recruiting recently. I made some handouts for a fayre at my uni, but I don't think many were taken.

Captain Wedge and I have been working on some online versions of that - basically finding Message Boards, stopping by and saying hello, and including a link in our sig. No really active recruiting, just what the Captain has dubbed "passive recruiting".

This club can be as active as you make it. It all comes from the bottom to the top. Meaning I can push you as much as I want, but the only ones who will make it happen are you.

Jansen: We've all been preaching that for the past years now. Sadly, it seems at times they just don't realize that they (being the junior officers) actually hold the power of this organization. We just do the paper shuffling.
