Galactic Battlegrounds

hi,

can someone give me some info about galactic battlegrounds?
i need the following:
1. does the game need a key to play online
(i plan to buy it at ebay and if it needs a key iÂ´ll only buy new unopened copies)

2. does the Army use the add on "Clone Campaigns"??

3. is the game restricted in multiplayer regarding the different languages (can i play with a german version and join a game that runs the us version)?

anything else i should consider when buying it??

My bad.. I was going to respond to these when you sent it to me, but forgot..

1) You only need the CD to play. There is no key.

2) You are more than welcome to use it, but like the add on for JK, (MoTs I believe) it is not an official platform.

3) Not sure about 3...

4) If you like Age of Empires, you will like GB. If not, don't buy it..

My personal comment, I don't really like battlegrounds. It is ok, but not as good as warcraft 3. The only reason to get bg, is because it is SW. If you're looking for the best RTS, this is not the direction.
Just my little pessimist comment.

k, thanks for the info.
well, iÂ´m not looking for the Best RTS, but for a nice SW Strategy game.
and for about 5-10 euro iÂ´ll take the risk that i may not like it.

so, off to ebay and see where i can get a cheap copy
