Over the past while medals have not been a priority, since the rosters and such have been of higher precedence. But now that things are reasonably well-sorted out (and I've spoken with FA Polanski on the issue), it's time for some book-keeping things like medals.
Anyone wishing to award a medal (including the ones previously requisitioned but not yet awarded), please send to me ( Fel@empirereborn.net ) all the relevant details. Medals will be personally reviewed by myself and awarded accordingly. Do include:
1) The recipient (with ID-Line)
2) The awarder (with ID-Line)
3) The medal you wish to award
4) The reason for the award
A few important things:
- Read the official guide to medals and awards! This will help you to determine what award (if any) is appropriate.
- Please don't send me 5 000 medal requests in the hopes that I will approve them without reading them. Please restrict these sorts of things to reasonable requests.
- Service medals (MoC, LSM, etc) are not being processed at the moment. They are generally handled by the admin scripts FA Polanski puts together, and so they will be sorted by the scripts before long.
- Please don't try requesting all sorts of medals for yourself claiming they were requested by others.
Medals will be processed and added in due time. Provided the medal in question is appropriate, then they will be added to the officer's profile and a short e-mail describing it will be sent.
