SWCombine pages down?

Is it just me, or does everybody get a "cannot resolve www.swcombine.com" message everytime a page loads? If yes, could somebody (Pol? Fel?) please get rid of the SWCombine linkbanner code on the forum? It is extremely annoying to have that pop up all the time you open a page.

The SWC pages will be down for few days, then they will come back online.

The server got hit with a DOS attack, from what I understand. No ETA on when it'll be back online.

I'd keep the code, frankly. It's not that bad, and we'll forget to put it back.

I think somebody took out the code for the banner itself - the link is still there. Thanks to Pol I guess.

And yes, it IS bad when you open ten pages at once and then have to kill all those popups.

Because there were ten new posts and I tend to not click "bakc" all the time because it is dumb.

Speaking of the SC, does anyone have any way that I can get around the no free e-mail lock on it? I find it to be pointless but anoying the same.

I used my impsquadrons.net adress till I got problems with the adress, then I
mailed the admins and asked for a change to my gmx.de adress, and it was ok (not to say I got no single mail from the SWC itself).

BTW, the SWC is back online!

Much as we'd like to, if someone had used that email address to sign up for their account then the request might not go through. Haing multiple characters is not allowed in SWC.
