Bridge Crew

I was wondering if anyone had heard of a program (created way back when in the mid '90s) called "Bridge Crew". It was a a piece of software that was designed to simulate a multi-officer bridge crew on a starship (based on Stark Trek, I believe), and as such was a multiplayer program. I've been trying to find it on the web for a few days, but to no avail. I've checked Google - nothing. I've checked The Underdogs - nothing (they have it, but there's a critical file missing, it says). I've checked download.com - again, nothing.

If anyone's heard of the program, could you post and let me know where I might find it. The creator's website apparently went down, so I can't go there for information. Thanks.

EDIT: The problem is not so much finding a site that has it as much as finding a site that has it and doesn't link to the author's (now down) site (ie has their own copy of the program on their server).

If you like the idea of that game, go and search for "Star Trek: Star Fleet Academy". It is actually a pretty cool game, featuring the lives of a couple of cadets on the SFA going thru their training. Of course their training is flying missions on a space ship simulator, which becomes your job, but you control all the stations. Engineering = energy management, etc.
In addition to missions that are quite fun, you also get to choose what the main character does, who get's confronted with different things (stuff like "cheat at kobayashi maru test", "how to resolve a fight between your 'crew'" and so on). All the time this actually is filmed in real video, and features actors like William Shatner and Lenard Nimoy, who play their classic roles.

It features nice graphics for that time and there's at least one add on (Chekov's lost missions). I liked it and still play it.

Hmm, looks interesting. The nice part of "Bridge Crew" is that you can play with multiple people (you must, actually), and the simulation is Game Master run, so lots of stuff can happen.

Sadly, the Underdogs copy of the game seems to be lacking a critical file.

The problem is that, while I would normally be able to get it here (at HOTU), their download is missing a critical file, and thus unusable.

Like I said, I've been looking all over the net, to no avail.

Vort, there is also a Klingon counterpart for that game. It offers background to one of the ST movies. Both are great fun.

Heh, thanks, Vort. I spent quite a while looking for that very page.

Anyways, I emailed the guy/corporation/etc, and so we'll see if I get an answer. I also found downloading the 2004 Beta version helped just a bit.

P.S.: They have a download section, but it contains only a "2003" and "2004" beta.
