Glendon: Excuse me, Sergeant? We are not "old". We are chronologically challenged.

(and yes, I realize I've only been around three years, whereas some have been around much longer

I was just thinking about that the other day. Where I used to consider myself part of the "Middle Guard" enough time has gone by that guys like me, Fel, Jansen, Polanski, etc are now the "Old Guard".

"Chronologically Challenged" would be the young people. We are "Chronologically Advantaged".

My LSM-5S comes through in about six weeks. That's scary.

New Guard? Middile Guard? Old Guard?

Not sure where i fall into place. I'm nolonger new, and though i have been called it i'm not old. But i dont see myself as a middle gaurdsman either...

I fall into none of these, for i am a Shadow, one of many, and a master of the shadows i am.

Oh wait - do we still even get them while in the reserves?

Heh... that's something I've been thinking about re-coding, so that the LSM is not awarded for Reservists. Wouldn't be that hard if we allowed a reservist to come back and regain the medal and all time spent in the reserves added to it. If not that, then it would be a bit tricker, but still do-able.

I am against it. Reservists may not be in active duty yet they are members of the Empire. If we had choosen to retire or quit, that would be something diferent. But no, we are reserves.
