Well, this is my first report as Commander of the Army. A lot has happened since I have taken command. Numbers have grown, but not as much as I had thought. Battlefront comes out on the 21st of September. I hope to see a jump in numbers when this happens.

Well, as you all know, the Legion closed and moved into the Army. This was a decision made by RA Orzon, FA Polanski and myself. With that, the Royal Guard are now part of the Army. So, all who want to join must challenge myself or ALC Fel in combat to gain entry (Note, you can only enter playing JK, JKII and JKIII)...

1) The Legion merges with the Army pushing our numbers up to a total of 16! Welcome to all our newcomers!
2) Major Fel is promoted to Lt. Colonel and becomes the first Nemesis Brigade Commander!
3) Captain Chu resigns and is placed into the reserves. Good luck to him!
4) 2LT Mitchell is promoted to Lieutenant and takes Chus place as Bravo CO!
5) Royal Guard Changes. Look to the Field Manual for info!
6) New Competition! I would like to name the Nemesis Companies. Please send in all suggestions and the winner will get something nice depending on how many take part. This is an easy one, so I expect a lot of suggestions!

Major Revision to the Field Manual!
With the help of 2LT Solidisen, we now have officer and NCO RIPs. New ID lines have also been implemented. Instead of relying on the Navy, we now have our own system. You can view all this in the manual at the following... http://army.empirereborn.net/fieldmanual.htm
Changes to the Army Website!
With the help of a few officers (2LTSolidis and SGT Branet), the site has a nice little intro and AIM icons to be used for AIM Buddy Icons and the ER message boards. Also 1st Brigade CO office added. Take a look at http://army.empirereborn.net

Field Manual Updated!
Structure image added, thanks to Colonel Fel! Also unit classifications added! Each unit (Company) will now hold one of 5 classifications. Infantry/Assault, Armor, Artillery/Heavy Assault, Reconnaissance and Special Forces.
Current rosters stands as...
Dragon = Artillery/Heavy Assault
Hornet = Infantry/Assault
Raider = Reconnaissance
Spearhead = Armor
Each classification is equipped with the proper weapons and armor. Look to the manual for more info..

Last Report of the year!
Yes, last report of 2004. So much has happened, it would be too much to read. Anyhow, I wish everyone had a great holiday and will have a safe and happy new year!
SDI Appointment!
The time has come to appoint an Army Dean for the Academy. The number of troopers there is too high to pass up. With the appointment of the new Army Senior Drill Instructor (SDI), that should change.
I have added Army Chief Mentor to the following duties of the SDI...
"The Army Senior Drill Instructor is charged with training of all Privates attending the Imperial Academy. The SDI holds the rank of Major on appointment and can be promoted up to full colonel."
With that, I herby appoint Lieutenant Catman to the position of Army Senior Drill Instructor and promote him to the rank of Major effective immediately.

Navy News
Rear Admiral Fel, Navy Fleet Commander promoted to Vice Admiral and new Commander of the Navy. Congrats to him!

Last Report of the year!
Yes, last report of 2004. So much has happened, it would be too much to read. Anyhow, I wish everyone had a great holiday and will have a safe and happy new year!
SDI Appointment!
The time has come to appoint an Army Dean for the Academy. The number of troopers there is too high to pass up. With the appointment of the new Army Senior Drill Instructor (SDI), that should change.
I have added Army Chief Mentor to the following duties of the SDI...
"The Army Senior Drill Instructor is charged with training of all Privates attending the Imperial Academy. The SDI holds the rank of Major on appointment and can be promoted up to full colonel."
With that, I herby appoint Lieutenant Catman to the position of Army Senior Drill Instructor and promote him to the rank of Major effective immediately.

SDI Resigns
Due to real life getting in the way, Major Catman had to resign. I will not be opening applications at this time. The Academy Prefect will be helping out for now.
New Recon Director!
As announced at the last GE meeting..
<FA_Pol> As the post of recon director is a TDA for a set period of time, we are in need of appointed another. ALT Hunter was the previous, and laid down some excellent groundwork. In light of this, applications were asked for, and I am happy to announce that LT Branet has been selected as the new director!
Anyone who has any recon ideas or clubs the GE could be affiliated with should contact the Director at Recon@Empirereborn.net
