Hello, I'm new to this site and I was wondering how the GE traditionally battles via XWA.

If you join with XWA, then you will have to complete the Basic Combat Certificate (as described here http://www.empirereborn.net/academy/xwa.html ) and then you'll be stationed into an XWA squadron.

From there on, you battle anyway you can - popular things include skirmishes. Note I havent played this so this is all I can tell you, someone else should have some more information.

Also, we do have combat ladders now and then - where you can challenge and fly against other pilots on the ladders. The top finishers are awarded medals.
