You know, the GE hasn't seen a trial in a long time.... to be correct, I never saw a single one, because Whitten and Straight had theirs while I was on leave and Donitz never got one. :P

We need a trial fast! :P

The ones for Whitten and Straight? As said, I wasn't there to whittness them (get the pun? :P), but...let's see, what DID they do?
I think one of them apparently tried to make another club, get GE officers to leave the GE and join them (I think it was a rebel club as well).

The other...I think he stole copyrighted stuff or something. And I think he also threatened the GA with hacking the page or something like that.
Might be mistaken, though. We are talking about stuff that happened in early 1999. :P

Ah, this is the first time I had any clue as to what Whitten ever did. He's always just been some sort of a bogeyman I've been hearing about every now and then, save for that one custom mission where you could blow him up

I remember that sucky mission. :P
All you do is just stay in the Asteroid hangar entry and blow everything up. At least I think that was the mission with Whitten in it.

And yes, he was pretty much a bogeyman, seeing how the GA order "all records purged" that contained any information regarding him.

Vort is correct on the Whitten part, as far as I remember. Whitten did indeed start a rebel club and tried to get GE people (including myself :P) to join.

As for Strait, I am not so sure about him. But hacking threats and copyright infringements sound about right. He thought of himself as an uber l33t computer geek who could hack just about anything. No idea about the copyright stuff, though.

Regarding the actual "trials" - if by "trial" you mean Daemon publically saying "You're out" then there were indeed trials. :P
