Dragon Company Reports

Since ALT Hunter gave me permission to do the company report for this week and having gotten approval from COL Fel, here's this week's Dragon Company Report.

The Dragon Company Report is as follows:

Currently, I have been working on getting myself back
in the flow of things due to the fact that my ISP has
somewhat fixed the problems I have been having - which
is now allowing me to participate in the ladders.
Also, I have taken the Army Officer, Naval Officer,
and Squadron Commander exams. Of these three, I have
only recieved the gradiing for the Army Officer exam -
which I got an 84% (I thought it was an 82% but I just
double checked it). Rear Admiral Orzon responded to my
exam saying

"This result has been applied to your officer profile.

By taking the time to sit the exam and to do well in
it you've proven that you're more dedicated than your
peers and superior officers will look admirable on
this. However, never forget what you have learned, and
never falter in your duty, as like you, there will be
other young officers also trying as hard as you did.

Good luck in your service to the Empire, Private First
Class."

I'm currently awaiting the result of the Naval and
Squadron Commanders Exam and I hope I did as well. I
am planning on taking the Orbital Exam once I can
download the program that goes with it. This might
take a while, so I may or may not be able to do this
exam this weekend. This is one thing that I am
currently going to work on.

Also, I am currently working on a Brigade Banner idea
that I have, and Colonel Fel gave me the go ahead to
work on it. Also, while i"m on the topic of graphics,
I was given a Medal of Merit for my creating the
Dragon Banner. As per our discussion, I'm probably
going to be making a Dragon Company Website - but this
is going to happen when I have some more spare time on
my hands (as in a lul of things to do in my long list
of things that I have to do - I have 3 websites I'm
currently working on, and two graphics jobs).

With activity, I have been doing a mass amount of JO
matches, can't remember how many, but I'm currently at
number two on the Combat Ladders. Also, I am in the
process of trying to get a hold of the Freeworlds
Total conversion for Freelancer so I can branch out
into the Imperial Navy with a clone.

Also, I have not heard of my Naval Officer or Squadron
Commander Exam results from the Commandant of the
Imperial Academy. I'm wondering if he got the results
or not. As well, I'm waiting for my info on my profile
on the official roster as well as my position to be
updated on the unit roster as well.

I'm not sure what he has been doing over the past time
since he reported in to you but he did do two matches
with me for the combat ladders. Not much else to report for
him besides he recommended me for a Medal of Merit for
the Dragon Banner as well as a promotion to get me to
the slot of XO for Dragon Company.

Ms. Sannah has been participating in a large amount of
matches - from what she has told me, 2 X-Wing Alliance
matches and 5 Jedi Outcast matches. These can be
confirmed by Lieutenant Commander Vortagh and Colonel
Fel. Also, she told me that she completed the Naval
and Army Officer exams, the later having taken it
twice due to failing it originally. After retaking,
she got an 82%. Also, she has contributed into the
tactical sense with having created 2 missions - 1 TIE
Fighter mission and 1 X-Wing versus TIE Fighter
mission. Her activity report stated to me that she
created 8 exams.

Upon sending my report, Ms. Sannah asked me what her
orders are - and this is what I told her: Keep on
doing matches, both XWA and JO, keep on creating
missions. Also, keep updated on the Outer Sector
information because you never know when the services
of the Imperial Army are going to be needed. Please
keep in touch with both Hunter and myself.

Also, I have not heard from Private First Class
Rymeetego at all since I joined the Company - so I am
going to IM him on AIM as soon as I'm done sending
this report to you.

There's nothing else to report.

Orders, as expressed to Private First Class Sannah, are to keep updated with the Outersector information, and to be ready for mobilisation as we never know when our services in the Imperial Army are going to be needed.

Well, I see Vort's made an influence with report writing, I guess I have to step up mine now, huh?

Thank you General, and Colonel - he never influenced me. I've got a long history of writing reports for another game. I have to do them twice weekly, once to a member of another branch and once to my CO. So Iv'e got around 2 years of reporting experience under my belt

You reminded me of something I wanted to do in my report, but apparently I forgot: Giving activity reports on all the members, one by one.

I like that style a lot more, because it gives credit to the individuals. In my report it is too mixed up. Thanks for reminding me to do it that way. :-)

Me reminding you to start doing activity reports on all the members, one by one perhaps?

But the reason why I use this format that I use, is because in my other game, it's a D20 SWRPG game and we have to issue merits and XPs for each report (XPs come from reporting into the CO in an In-Character fashion and merits for when the report is on time and if they did things that were of extra-ordinary merit).

By listing each person's activity levels, and give comments about what you've observed about the person, you get to give your CO (If you're an BCO/LCO/WCO) who may not have as close contact to your people as you do, an overview of the person's character in particular.

This also allows for the commanding officer's to pick at will, the upcoming officers for command positions.

Nah, that is fine. I have 7 years of reporting experience and this is just the first time that someone on the Chimaera writes something like this. :P

As said, I just reported about the members in one big text, other that giving each of them a single text. No big deal. :P

Colonel,

Here's the report for the company. Sorry about not reporting in on time, but shit has been hectic with me. I'm about to be leaving on a two week LOA tomorrow, during which Hunter'll be in command of the Company. Nothing much has been going on, haven't been getting any confirmations from the company, even when I was sending out weekly checkups to them.

The only people in the company that I've talked to lately are Hunter and Ceninant. He's around and everything. Not sure what he's been doing but I bet he's doing everything correctly. Hunter is Hunter, what can you expect?

Anyways, I had put in for the aide to General Jansen after a few people asked me to do it as they thought I should. I did, and I'm waiting for a response on it.

Anyways, nothing else is much going on. I completed the Company Commander test in the Academy and I just sent it in. I'll be watching my email when I can on a response on it. Hopefully I'll know by the end of the week.

Other then that, nothing much else is going on.

Other things that has been of note is that Private Seppen, who was in the Reserves, has returned, although because she thinks that I am an incompetent commander and the such, she has requested to go into the Navy. My person feelings on this are going to be reserved for a later date.

Also, the current orders for the Company is as follows: The company is going to be under Hunter's command for the next two weeks due to my LOA (which has been explained; I will be at a technical college and getting settled in and I won't have dedicated internet access in my dorm room. I'll have to use the computer lab computers. During this time it's to get me acclimated to the area and the such. After that, I will attempt to return to full status.

During this time, all members of Dragon Company are to keep up their work and the such, and participate in the Outer Sectors. If you have the platforms to do each mission, please do so. There are awards and brevet ranks at stake.

Other then that, I have nothing else to report. See you all in May!
