Open Positions

For those of you who put away the peasants and stored the ewoks in the freezer, I urge you to bring them back out, because yet another page is released!

Entitled "Unit Command Openings", it is a collective display of every position in each active division which is not staffed with an officer. For instance, 1st Brigade lacks an Executive Officer; it shows up on here.

Viewable at http://empirereborn.net/openpositions.php , I would urge any officer who is seeking to advance up the ladder a bit to check this out. It can be a rather useful source of information.

Just to add, for most higher positions, they may be empty but this does not mean that applications are currently being considered. It is best to check with the necessary officer before applying in some cases.

For general squadron / detachtment level, officers are highly encourged to apply!

I also would urge any officer who is looking to advance to apply. This especially goes for new Ensigns or Privates...

Also note that dvision command positions are not listed here. For example, the Captain of the Royal Guard position is not filled at this moment, but it would not be listed here.

Well, recall that the acceptance of applications is strictly under the jurisdiction of the direct commanding officer. Thus, you can apply, but whether or not the Colonel accepts the application is different.

(As a side note, this would not done to be mean, etc -- occasionally their exist reasons for keeping a position open.

Hehe, and one of the reasons I alluded to is that *your* CO wants to keep it open.
