Tinted Windows

After some deliberation, I have decided that as part of the Chimaera's repairs I will have all windows tinted. This is convenient, since half the windows will have to be replaced due to the actions of my energetic and misguided first officer.

As a gift to the crew, I will also be ordering all chairs on the bridge to be leather-upholstered with built in temperature controls.

I may also add a sunroof. I haven't decided yet - I'm waiting for Kuat to get back to me with a cost estimate.

I love it! Only thing I'd have to point out to you, sir, is that you might want to not go with the sunroof. Opening it would probably result in a goodly amount of casualities.

There would be a built-in energy barrier which would activate when the roof opens to ensure no change in atmosphere.

First of all, I am not misguided. A guy has to have fun sometimes, right? And when better than when his captain is on short leave?

Secondly, I would like to request that in addition to the tinted windows, the windows on Deck 1 be stained glass, with little images of me everywhere.

As for the sunroof, all I say is this: Heck yeah!

If we went with stain glass, they would show more noble and magnificent features: like Rala and me during the Great Donut War, or me when I saved the Empire, or me from the other time when I saved the Empire, or from that third time when I saved the Empire, or from the time when I helped Rala cheat the Imperial Veteran's Benefit Association out of thousands of credits or...wait....scratch that last one.

Perhaps a mural of all the great Captains of the Imperial Fleet, past and present, would make a nice addition to your Officers lounge.

You could also put the portraits of troublesome flagship first officers in the refreshers of the prison level.

But seriously, I never said you couldn't have images of me, say, blowing up the database or something. I just said images of me. So hey, whatever you want to do, 'long as they're there.

Be careful with the magcon field for that sunroof... we've had enough experience of those things going wrong for one lifetime. (See my fiction Aftermath of Contruum - Part One)

Alright, we need some 24inch five spoke alloys, Venoms or the like, a nice Evo VIII Spoiler on the top of the bridge tower, some go faster stripes, and respray the whole thing red, "cuz red 'uns go fasterrrr"
