OK this may or may not help.
Find the shortucut to SW Rebellion. Right click on it and go to properties.
On the menu screen that comes up go to compatability on the right tab.
click on the check that's in front of Run this program in compatability mode for: and I used Windows 95. Under Display Settings, check only run in 640x480 resolution and the other 2 boxes uncheck. under Input Settings, leave unchecked. This helped me when it didn't run on my XP, so hopefully it will help you.
