<FA_Polanski> #1. Recent promotions
<FA_Polanski> I'd like to go over the most recent promotions that have been approved within the upper echelons in the Empire. Vice Admiral Tiberius Fel was promoted to Full Admiral, only the second in the Empire to hold that rank, due to his continued dedicated service as the Commander of the Navy, and the currently running of the (highly successful) Outer Sectors Campaign.

<FA_Polanski> Also within the Navy, one of our longest standing members has been promoted to Commodore and into the Flag Officers ranks - CD Vortagh. He has been in the Empire for a long time and dedicated time, effort and monetary expenses for our benefit.
<FA_Polanski> Having served in many different areas, he is currently stationed at the GE's Tactical Coordinator in charge of looking after custom missions. We hope to see many come out of his office shortly

<FA_Polanski> The final high level promotion is in the Army. General Jansen was keen to open up the Master At Arms position and to fill it promoted Jagged Fel to Brigadier General. J Fel has to like the above been an very dedicated officer for several years. To fill his space as 1st Brigade Commanding Officer, ALC Branet has been promoted as well.

<FA_Polanski> #2. Chimaera returns to service, but stolen!
<FA_Polanski> With CL La Forge taking command of the Chimaera as it returns to service after nearly being destroyed, it appears that it has been stolen from our grips. Not only embarrasing to the Navy and the Empire as a whole, the ship needs to be recovered so that we can complete our campaign. All those who can are expected to take part in the OuterSectors campaign.

<FA_Polanski> Excluding a few FPRs still to process the Outersectors campaign currently includes 35 members of the Empire, and the top 5 people are:

<FA_Polanski> Line Captain La Forge is currently compiling the next Galactic Empire newsletter. Those newer to the Empire will not have seen on released - in fact it was a *very* long time since one has been released.

<FA_Polanski> I think that over my leadership times so far have been difficult, but are slowly working out. We have a continued instream of cadets, many which now graduate into the fleet. A little late, but better than never, our official rosters currently register 130 active Imperials...

<AD_Fel> 1) Outer Sectors Update!
<AD_Fel> The Navy is currently in quite a bind, since the ISD Chimaera has been hijacked... but not to worry! The forces of the Imperial Navy will find the flagship and return it safely to its rightful owners.
<AD_Fel> The scum who stole it will pay dearly for their crime... But it is with the help of the VSD Warhammer and ISD Nemesis that we will catch them and show them that the Imperial Navy is *not* something to trifle with.
<AD_Fel> As for the holocron and the information it contains... that is on hold... You see, holocrons can quickly drive people mad, and so some special handlers are necessary for it... We will soon track Vek'din down and get the holocron repaired!

<AD_Fel> 2) Imperial Navy Administration Changes
<AD_Fel> In the past, the position of Senior Fleet Officer has been largely ceremonial - but that will be changing. In short, the Senior Fleet Officer will serve as an assistant to the Commander of the Navy in certain capacities.
<AD_Fel> For example, both the SFO and CoN will be able to approve External Competition Reports. Members of the Navy will shortly receive a a document outlining the full details.

<AD_Fel> 3) ICTE Tonight!
<AD_Fel> This afternoon or evening, depending on your time zone, there is the Inter-Club Training Event (ICTE) which takes place in channel #outerrim . All GE Officers are highly encouraged to attend!
<AD_Fel> The ICTE counts towards your Imperial Star award, even if you play only one match. Popular games are X-Wing Alliance (XWA), X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter (XvT), Jedi Outcast (JO), and Jedi Academy (JA).
<AD_Fel> ICTEs take place every Saturday, so you've got lots of opportunities to do the Empire proud!
